well that fair screen and line distribution do to a group. One of my ults is Loona so I make a little comparison, while BBC trying to push Heejin or Kim Lip or Chuu or Yves as they're somewhat capable (this include a variety show invitation, line and screen distribution), SouMu seems fairer and they go to variety show as a group and there seems no individuals that the company push (not as clear as Loona), so there's not many difference amount of fans per member on the group. Plus the fact they have smaller amount of member, and the underated member (umji or sowon maybe) are very calm and don't care about screentime and the more popular member are not greedy either.

I'm not a Buddy, but I like Gfriend's relay dance the most fr. Their relay dance is exactly the same as how the relay dance was used to be. In the past, relay dances were done quickly for each member, so that's where the challenge is. Unlike now where the relay dance is sometimes adjusted to the member's part, it's no longer challenging and fun to watch. And sometimes certain member took too much time in front of the camera.

I agree. In those times relay was not really planned. It just happened in one or two shots and that was it. Nowadays most of the relay is planned and carefully executed. Many shots would be taken to make it look perfect. Really it's so predictable nowadays thus becomes boring to watch.

In the past, usually relay dances were not adjusted to each member's part, so all members had to be able to fill in whoever part they got when their turn came. And whatever the dance formation is, that member in the front would do it alone, that's why they lined up when doing it. Just see how quickly GFriend members switch to each other.

This is exactly why I started looking into relay dances!!! Tbh I only love GFriend's relay dances because I feel like most of the other groups have practiced before filming the video or planned everything and talked about how/when/what etc. they will dance and although it looks very beautiful and clean it isn't as fun to watch as the relay dances GFriend does. I wish more other idols would do these spontanous and fun relay dances! I mean if you want to watch a clean and perfect performance then just watch the live stages like duh.
