Really tasty orchestrial strings that makes every track sound full and complete as well as some nostalgic 80s influence such as the use of the funky baselines. I am not a fan of the 80s eras of music but this ep is what I like about 80s music.

I knew you would love and "understand" CONTRAIL, it's literally my favorite B-Side of them (which is saying a lot considering their discography). This song takes me back to my childhood and gives me a great feeling of nostalgia. Thank you for listening to their music and knowing how to appreciate them. I just miss them so much 🤧🤧🤧

i also agree with your critique of please save my earth, the production was too messy for me and there's something off about the chorus idk i've heard better songs from MIO (who also produced mermaid and flower garden). what i do love is the use of brass instruments and strings.

I do believe that The Awakening album was way too ahead of its time when it was released, like Fingertip ~ the retro funky sound that not everyone was prepare yet to that kind of sound by that time, also there was an old arrangement of their discography in Spotify that the awakening album was arrange after the latest album release and when you list to it its like a continuation of their later releases
