The slippery stage incident: It was an outdoor stage and just prior to Gfriend's appearance, it was raining. The event organisers made no attempts to dry the water on the stage. There was ALOT of bugs and moths flying around, some of them are dead on the stage. No one cleared them away as well. Gfriend was told to get on stage and perform in those conditions. Bring a newbie group at that time, they have to compile despite knowing that it's dangerous to dance on a wet stage. Yuju fell a number of times and during one of those times, she fractured her fingers. You can see her crying when her back is turned, but she still put on a smile and dance when facing the audiences. It was painful to watch, but Gfriend was praised for being professional about it and Yuju was commended for getting up and finishing the performance despite falling and injuring her fingers.

This episode is around November or December 2015 when it was filmed..The next Weekly Idol would be the episode where GFRIEND made the 2x speed dance at Weekly Idol became more famous when a fan asked them to dance Rough 2x speed..The New Year Special Weekly Idol with the girls wore Hanbok

Thanks for the reaction content. These girls have always been themselves on shows. I've watched them for years and they are always entertaining and true to themselves. That's one of their genuine appeals to me. Also all of them have very distinct personalities and don't hesitate to show their own charm. Over time, they just become more experienced and comfortable but remain true to themselves.

The dance battle wasn’t really one to show proper dance. It is a nonsense dance battle xD so they had to make a funny dance - hence Yerin and Yuju are the best at this. Yeah they weren’t that confident back then and most get better with time (Sowon acting improved a lot since that time) But as you said they always had that nice kind and humble heart. They were at the end of their teenagehood and throughout the next episodes you’ll notice their growth towards the ladies they are now. That's so cool and ambitious to react to their first concert for the 100th gfriend video. I am totally looking forward. Thanks as always for the nice Gfriend reaction.

I know they personally know the fan that filmed that video, I saw a show where GFriend was on and they invited him too. Yuju's show is really fun and the episode with Weeekly is a must-watch for sure, I think they are having some problems with audio and subs tho, I know they re-uploaded the first episode and it should be fine, nothing too problematic of course but like some desync with the subs and some audio issues, I know that the staff is working a lot on them to make them good, they posted a really looooong community post on yt explaining everything (in korean tho). Oh, really cool idea for the 100th video, looking forward to it. A video would be the easiest way for you to do it and for people to watch it, but a live is a really cool idea since you can interact directly with subscribers. Lol the ending "Ops" hahaha

Just to clarify Sowon got her legs measured along with Heechul in a show and its more than 105 cm.... Her legs are loooong, 80% legs and I love her for that.... I think they were 107 cm.... Also, it's kinda hard to believe, being that SinB is considered one of the sexiest Kpop girls in Korea, and also by how powerful of a dancer she is, but she is actually very very shy.....

@@anandhu6185 yes. The reason i stan them is because of their talents and personality. I really love how genuine they are on and off cam and they are very communicative with buddies thru vlive, IG live, and Weverse. Even they are in hiatus RN, they never forget to cheer up buddies with their individual contents. Especially on weverse. Have you seen Showtime with Mamamoo and their one fine day? Their friends in adriatic episodes are cool too. They are soooo funny in their own ways haha. We all can't resist them.

I just really hope that Memoria will have a continuation later. Since they already announced before that Memoria is already a regular show. Maybe they just cut if off for a while due to comeback i guess? 🤔 or i am just clowning myself HAHA

Running Man is really the thing back then when it comes to variety shows, then Weekly Idol comes as close second. I also hated the hosts because of how they handle groups but we cannot deny the fact that this show has an impact as well and is popular for groups.

Ah thank you for this! The girls definitely have become more confident here and onwards they all take part more which is nice to see! The new Memoria video is called highlights and they posted pictures from filming on Instagram today of each member, it’s a very high possibility that Memoria is finished. Although they never mentioned it outright they kind of hinted at it with “thank you for cherishing Gfriend’s Memoria” I’d really hope they have plans to either continue this at a later date or have something else planned, having it a continuous show would be nice. No idea why they would stop it randomly And either way, the concert is a good idea. Although the videos don’t have English subs for when they’re talking so I don’t know if that will affect your plan to do them or not, just thought I would let you know! And Yuju’s new series(?) thing is playing a game called Halli Galli, basically challenging people to play with her!

Oh no, the possible end of Memoria! That would be sad as I think it’s a great way for the girls to have fun and keep some form of contact/content with fans. But if it costs too much of the girls don’t have the time due to other things I understand. Would be a shame for it to go, so hopefully it’ll carry on but maybe not be as regular as before, we shall see.

@@RhodesToKpop but Source Music have copyrighted all their music so they cannot perform any of their songs without their permission and sending them any revenue from it. The company even copyrighted their name a few weeks ago so even if another company signed them as an entire group the name would have to change. I am sure that this is the end. Has any top idol group of their stature ever signed for another company and started from scratch again with a different name and new songs complete with all their members after all their contracts expired ? I doubt it as I cannot think of one and is probably because it is too great of a financial risk to anyone considering breaking the KPop model.

@@RhodesToKpop yes that is why I am in shock especially as it seems the girls appeared to think that they were getting new contracts with them talking excitedly about their comeback very recently. Yuju even spilled the beans that there would be a Korean version of Fallin Light on this new album which has supposedly been finished and she wanted to play it to Buddy she loves it so much but after checking with staff she said that Buddy would have to wait a little longer to hear it. So clearly this is very sudden and something momentous must have happened behind the scenes. I guess we will know but feels more like a sacking than a simple planned expiry of contract.

Gfriend really talented girl, I'm amazed by their cuteness, beautiful look with powerful dance and good vokal what else you need🤩. Gfriend onee line can cook very well Sowon, Yerin and Eunha. I prefer you record it because it really fun watching gfriend together 😂😂and I enjoyed it.

Chris, another great reaction. Like you, I find the two hosts to be somewhat sleazy. The newer, younger hosts are much better. As for your 100th special, I would have a hard time with a dedicated four hours, especially considering time differences. However, do what works best for you. If you haven't seen it yet, it is an awesome show (the solo stages you did are from this concert).

@@RhodesToKpop yes you are right about that. For that very reason this will be the end as has been the case for every group that has their contracts terminated. The wording of the company statement does suggest that the girls realise this and will be going their separate ways. A sad day especially as Sowon and Yuju were recently talking about how they sign albums clearly unaware of what was about to happen. They clearly think they have a comeback around the corner so this must have come as an awful shock to them and to all of us.
