dave. might just be one of the most exquisite guitars i've seen. the layering of the various woods on the body, tapering the striping on the through neck, perfect fit and finish, and overall design! what a masterpiece.

Beautiful guitar. (Of course I still think about the build you did, last yr, which i genuinely loved!) You have another great guitar there. You amaze me with how beautiful you do the finishes as well. (I've seen some outstanding "custom built" guitars, but it seems the only thing lacking was the finish. Which I've heard can run as much as a couple of grand) Beautiful, quality finish. I'll vote for your build again. (My granddaughter has ORDERED me to vote for HER favorite builder, Gabriele Reti in Germany. Thank goodness we can vote more than once.) I was disappointed at the winners last year, after seeing so many innovative builds, but it's for a good cause. At least I can get my supply of guitar builds/repair videos. Looks great. One to be proud of. As a non-religious person, the soundtrack doesn't bother me either. It's guitar oriented, hummable and passes the time. I don't fear catching religion just from hearing lyrics.

While I'm not a fan of cutting large pieces of solid wood to build a wood/glue layer cake, its a nice instrument! A lot of work went into it, but I missed the fret slot cutting and install, was that "shopped out"?

I do all the work myself I just didn’t have time to show all that based on the deadline for the contest. There are several other builds on my channel that shows my process for that. Thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
