I would like to apologize for poor lighting and background noise. I am currently taking care of my mother after knee replacement surgery, she is having a tough time with it. So, I am not in my studio. I am trying to bead during her naps, but I need to be close by, so that is the reason for the poor quality of these videos. Soon, I will be back in my studio.

After watching several of your videos on how to make jewelry using what you get in the monthly bargain bead box, I feel like I should comment how helpful your lessons have been to me. I have been making beaded jewelry for over 15 years now, with a few gaps timeline. But I stayed at a beginner level with beading and bread shout instead into some very Advanced wire wraps of gemstone cabochon and freeform polished stones. I recently signed up for the bargain bead box and was at a bit of a loss as to what to make with all the different components that were included. I have watched other artists on KZbin and although they were very instructional, I found their designs to be very far removed from what I would make or wear myself. Your designs are spot-on with what I like to wear myself and what I think my loyal customers would prefer. I especially like what you do with the chandelier components, and your use of spacer beads in dangle earrings. I especially like how you let the bottom of a pendant be the truly decorative part, with the length leading up to the clasp being less flashy. Of course I will put my own spin on things oh, but you have influenced my designs and how I will do things in a very real way. Thank you so much! And it doesn't bother me in the least when you do things to shorten your videos a little bit, and I don't mind at all when you breathe through your coverage of what's in the monthly bargain bead box. Thanks again!

What a nice note, thank you for taking the time to write it. I often wonder if these videos are truly helpful. I am happy to hear that are. I use them more so for a way to teach different techniques than to actually promote the box. I think having a box with the same stuff I am using, except for what I might supplement, is a nice way to teach. I am glad you enjoy the videos, I am alway happy to inspire and I love that you can watch and put your own spin on it. Creativity is the goal!💙❤️❤️❤️💜

@@GGCBeginningbeaders you really have been a big help, and I thank you for that. You've also been an inspiration. I looked at those for part connectors that came with this month's bargain bead box, and I didn't know what I was going to do with those things. But you had a perfect solution. So I'll keep watching!

Now I have a better education of the “Bead world” I was fortunate enough to pay next to nothing for a plethora of Czech seed beads, from size 10/0 to 2/0, round, square, but mostly 6/0’s and one tube of superduo a friend brought back after I sent her looking for a few things. Long and short of it is what I learned 20yrs ago is slipping and I never knew there was a much bigger picture. I have a gold mine and don’t know what to do with it. I’ll been trying to follow your teaching, even the Daisy stitch is a bit difficult with the wrong size seed beads the wrong size thread, I do however have the right needle. lol any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Quite a bit of background noise, but I get it. Working from home when everybody else is also home, it's hard to find some quiet time. I applaud your efforts to power through! This is a very striking necklace (speaking about the first one)! It's very Downton Abbey-esque to me -- the old world coming into the new world. I love how you attached the smaller connectors to the large focal with chain. I'd have never thought of that! I love this month's collection from BBB. That chain is stunning! I want more of that -- lots! And the colors as well as the beads themselves are beautiful. (I was a bit thrown by that granny smith apple green in the kit as to a fall palette, but I'm sure I can work those into something.) Lovely! I also design from the focal out. I like the dangle in front of the focal in the second necklace, and I love all the colors. You've definitely given me ideas for my own creations.

Yes, a whole lot of commotion in the background, well, mostly the TV, oh and my moms oxygen machine and so on...it was either, make my viewers put up with all that, or don’t make this video at all. I decided I really wanted to get this one done, I have other ideas I want to work on as soon as I can get back into my studio. So, thanks for putting up with it. 💕 Yes, I too, really liked this box. The chain is a nice one this time, you are right, I won’t more of that too. Thank you for watching, have fun with your box👍😁💜

@@GGCBeginningbeaders I totally get it. For the last year of my mom's life she needed 24/7 care, so my sister and I would take turns living with her, 4 or 5 days at a time. She was also on oxygen, though we were able to move the machine to another room away from the living areas. Also, she was a bit hard of hearing, though she denied it till the end, and so would have to have the tv on full blast. I can't imagine trying to make a video under those circumstances. Thanks for thinking of the others of us who are stuck at home, needing diversion from the sameness of being homebound every day. Your tutorials are much appreciated.
@GGCBeginningbeaders4 жыл бұрын
@@kimbain4368 yes, those oxygen machines are loud, her stays in one place, it’s designated spot, outside the bedroom door, but you can hear it through the house. Anyway, thanks for understanding and relating. My next video will be quieter and well lit!

I am super new to these videos and wish I would have taken Sheila's advise about watching the videos first. After two nights of working on this GORGEOUS necklace....I am nowhere near completing this project. Going back to the less time-consuming projects from her other members. Don't get me wrong...this is beautiful and I have been making jewelry for quite a while and this is going to end up being a 10-hour project to get it right :-)
@GGCBeginningbeaders4 жыл бұрын
Some projects do take more time. You can simplify the design, just use the video for inspiration, then find an easier way. Maybe you if you leave off the wire wrapped dangles of and just use the graduated lengths of chain. That would still be pretty. Just do what you feel you can and want to do.
