Thankyou Gina for our time and generosity. I appreciate it so much! You are so pragmatic and precise and clear and I love these qualities sooo much!!! It's quite impossible to make mistakes following your tutorials. Your creations are always refined and tasteful I realized many and each one of them looks GREAT!!!!!!! ( even if I started beading just one year ago) God Bless you!!!!! Greatings and Love from Italy

Sandra Moneta you are very welcome! I am happy the videos are helpful. It is my goal, for every video, to make sure all levels of Beaders can follow, no experience or years of experience, it’s important to me. Thank you for your nice comments. I appreciate your time too!

Sandra, I read your comments to Gina and I was so surprised that someone from Italy would be making juelerey, because they have such beautiful jewelry in that beautiful country. But the reason I am writing to you you said you have been doing this project for a year. I have been doing this for only since September and I am not doing that great and I feel like I am so excited when I start but it comes out terrible. You are probably wondering why I am asking you about this but I never read anything, I just think maybe next time I will be able to get it but no I'm still not getting it. Please don't think I from outer space but your reply caught my attention and like I said Italy is the most beautiful jewelry you can see how beautiful it's made and the quality is so much better than any other place in the world. I was never there but if I know someone who is going there I would ask them to pick something up for me for a certain amount of money. But getting back to the question I wanted to ask you how long before your project came out the way they showed us how they did it or should I just quit while I spend more money into making jewelry or maybe with the help of GOD I will catch on. I don't have any one that I really talk to and I am so sorry to bother you but I will understand if you don't reply back. GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU FOR JUST READING THIS POST. THANK YOU AGAIN.I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN DUNMORE, PENNSYLVANIA.

LOL, you are the very first one, I really thought I would get questioned years ago, when I started my other channel. Never once! LOL. My finger (the upper half) was bitten off by a dog, then reattached, when I was in my 20’s. The upper joint doesn’t bend. I learned to function with out it, It is shorter than it should be and has less feeling in it. You are very observant.😁

I have to apologize for not stating you have to extend your Fireline in this project. Most Beaders know this, but this is a beginners channel. I may have said it later in the video but not at the start. Know that in most all projects you need to add thread or extend Fireline or Nanofil here is a link that will show you how to do either... kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqrGfp2ni8R3ea8

First attempt at making bracelet. Adding crystals but finding it really difficult to pass thru the 08’s so many times. I’m using 6lb Wildfire. You glide thru those beads while I’m finding it difficult and have to do a lot of pushing and pulling. I’m not giving up so any help is appreciated. I have 2 crystals on and already looking beautiful.
@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders 4 жыл бұрын
Lizanne Didyk sorry, just now saw this comment. Wildfire is too thick and stiff for this design. It’s a good thread, but, I find it too heavy for my personal use. I sew through my beads a lot. Try Nanofil, it’s strong but very thin

Love this bracelet & easy to make especially with you teaching. Thank you for sharing. I just saw this tutorial is 5 years old but still yet I just want recommend to any newcomers that are seeing this tutorial for the first time that the Toho seed beads make the bracelet look a lot nicer than the miyuki seed beads. I found that out with the first bracelet I made because I used Miyuki the first time. It pays to have both brands in your stash because once in awhile it really makes a difference

Here it is 4, maybe 5 years later and I'm still so captivated by your designs. I just finished making three of this bracelet: a Tanzanite, a Scarlet, and an Emerald Green. I have thousands of Swarovski crystals, buckets of beads, and everything in-between. I'm considering selling off my inventory but just can't do it because I continue to see yet something else of yours I want to make. Sigh. I'm not very good at selling, I guess. I had a page on Etsy that only sold a few things, so I opened one on Mercari instead :-

@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, just make it shorter, make sure your total amount of units are divisible by 3.

How do you find beads all the same size? I bought 11/0 and 8/0 But when I poured them out they are different lengths and wonky? This def did not work for this beautiful bracelet. Wonderful tutorial!! Thank you so much. 😁

Try buying Toho brand, or Miyuki, I prefer Toho. Only higher quality Japanese seed beads are all uniform in size.

If you make this bracelet longer so that it is dangling on the wrist will the crystals still lay face up and not turn to the side ?

As long as it is t huge it should. My do not hug my wrist, there is movement and they stay fine.

Can you tell me what adjustments I need to make to use 10/0 beads I already have?
@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders 3 жыл бұрын
You may have to make your stitches divisible by four instead of three. 11/0 Toho and 10/o Czech beads are about the same size. But I used 8/0 in the base. They are bigger than 10/0. You can the making more units, as I said, but the holes in the 10/0 may not accommodate many passes of thread. Use a very small diameter thread like 8lb Nanofil.

Can this pattern be used with a 3mm bicone crystal?
@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders Жыл бұрын
You can try it, it will be smaller, you will have to adjust the length and there will be more open space in the design.

Gina I’m a fairly new beader and I’ve expanded my beads quit a lot (according to my husband 😊) but I cannot find pure silver or gold beads ? Was wondering if they exist. Are your beads galvanized or silver? Thanks for any advice oh and thank you so much for your fabulous tutorials they have helped me make quit a few bracelets and stuff. 👍. (Whoops you answered my questions LOL 😂). Thanks Gina.

How does the string not break? Is it thick like wire or would it be better to double it?
@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders 3 жыл бұрын
It’s very strong, it’s a certain type of fishing line, you also sew through it many times, that strengthens it. If you double the thread to start, it will fill up the beads and you won’t be able to sew the thread path as the design is planned out to sew. Trust me, use Nanofil or Fireline and all will be fine.

A pretty bracelet. The only thing with using "wingspans" as a measurement, is that most people don't know that the width of their arms spread out from fingertip to fingertip is their height. So, one person may be six foot, and the next 5'3". That's why using an arm span as a measurement doesn't really work for tutorial purposes. I really do love this bracelet though... 💗

Hi Gina...I have made quite a few of these now. They are beautiful. I wanted to ask, can you tell me the best way to change out a clasp on a finished bracelet??? I put a magnet clasp and now I see it should be a lobster or something else. I hate to take it apart but I will if that's the only way...Thanks Gina...I just love your work!!!
@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders 5 жыл бұрын
That may be the only way, at least take apart some of both ends, pull a solid thread out, extend it and repair the end adding your clasp.

Hi Gina, I love your design and would like to make it. As I'm new to beading I would like to ask, how much thread do I need in total for this bracelet? My wrist is appr. 7 inches. Thank you :-)
@GGCBeginningbeaders
@GGCBeginningbeaders 4 жыл бұрын
I can not tell you that answer, it is impossible to figure that out exactly, you will need to add thread. You start with 3 or 4 feet, to make it manageable, then extend your Fireline or Nanofil as needed. There is a link in the subscription box below the video player. That linked video will teach you how .😊

This tutorial is good, but my mom and I got confused because of the 11's and the 8's being the same color. Please use a different color per size of your beads. For example if your 8's are silver, use an alternative color like red for the 11's. The visual effects of the different colors will be better for us visual learners. Just a thought.
