What a sweet video! The chimp is really the most sweet! I would have not even brought that other animal with me because the chimp needs your utmost, uninterrupted attention at feeding time. I certainly hope that you began giving her your whole attention while you were feeding her.

Umm, pretty sure any zoo worth its salt wouldn’t feed and cross contaminate entirely different species with the same feeding implement....

In the wild, several species of animals eat from the exact same sources of food without getting sick. So, at a zoo, where there is a significly lower chance for an animal to carry a disease, it should be fine. Anyways, the spoon was double sided, whit one edge feed ing the chimp, and one feeding the kinkajou.

@@kiwyleini I am merely explaining that the chances of cross species contamination is low in this video. Chimps (Primates) and kinkajous (Procyonidae) do not share many disease that the other class could catch.

I hope this isn't a pet situation , or chimps for sale , they're only taken care of till they're too big and then it's a chain , a cage or killed . It's completely cruel . All the idiots oohing and ahhing over it are as much of the problem . It's only cute for a few years , then come back and see where they end up. Smh. The chimp is a victim not a baby
