⁠If you’re wondering why I super’d the air, it’s because Johnny can do That’s My Name after Mist Finer wall splats. This is due to the recovery reduction on his forward dash and I get noticeably more damage. The input is just really tight, so I buffered dash too early while still in Mist finer recovery and it didn’t come out. Mixyous took advantage of the opportunity really well

@@Shareezz Yeah, because Happy Chaos requires way tighter execution and planning. Like the reason people hate Slayer isn't just how ridiculous his damage output is, but because execution-wise his optimal combos and damage aren't super hard to achieve, and his ability to convert into those is equally stupid-easy. So on the lower floors, y'know the place where newer players are still learning even basic stuff like how to anti-air, having a character just delete your HP so easily can feel frustrating for.... ANYONE who isn't Slayer. Slayer is like the most carried scrub killer aside from maybe Elphelt (I mean, her mixup literally plays itself)

​@@jamfingers55 There's a number of things that are incorrect in your statement. 1) Optimal Slayer combos are EXCEPTIONALLY hard to achieve, the amount of height pixelhunting, tight links, and precise delaying required is simply insane. It's the damage on less optimal and more doable combos that trigger floor 6 gang. And only floor 6 gang, because Slayer's damage on sub-optimal combos is nothing special for higher floors, the real gorilla characters can outdo it with their intermediate stuff. 2) While Slayer has high conversion potential, he struggles much more than any other character when it comes to getting a hit to convert. He's the king of never getting a turn and dying with perfect, which, by the way, happens a lot more often on floor 6 than higher. 3) Slayer's winrate is actually LOWER on lower floors, progressing with player skill, which, oddly enough, means that Slayer is the opposite of "scrub killer" - a high skill floor character. FYI, the biggest "scrub killer" aka character with the highest winrate on Floor 6 while being average at Floor 10 is... Leo. Now, I won't know much about floor 6 power dynamics, I've been there for my first 5 matches of Strive and never again, but why floor 6 gang complains about Slayer who's average on floor 6, and not about Leo who's actually destroying floor 6 according to stats, is a mystery.
