White Ferrari and Moon River are some of Frank's most beautiful works, and they've made me feel emotions I didn't know I was capable of feeling . They're about two lovers who slowly drift apart due to their own inherent differences, and they realize they just aren't compatible like they once thought they were. Things aren't the same as when they first met and they decide to part ways because they know it's best for them. And that's more heartbreaking than any traditional breakup song could ever be, in my opinion at least. God bless Frank Ocean, man.

i miss the love of my life. i miss everything about her. there’s not a single second of the day where I don’t think of her. i want to know how her day went, if she ate, if she got enough sleep, if she’s loving her classes for school, if her family is healthy and doing well, if she’s having fun with her friends,, if maybe she’s thinking about me... i just- i am in love with this girl, okay. i love her so damn much that nothing in this world can make me stop loving her, no matter how hard things try to, nothing will make me stop loving her. everyday i want to call her just to let her know i love her, that im always going to be here.. but i can’t... i wish i can see her smile when I say the words “i love you” one last time, then I can die happy... or maybe even hear her say “I’ve always been in love with you.” it was always her from the start, i never wanted anybody else but her. even today, there’s no girl that could make me want them, they’re just not her.. no matter how much i get pushed out or get hurt by her, i will keep on loving her no matter what. I will wait for that day for us to be together again.. and till that day comes i I’ll be waiting. Waiting from a distance. getting ready to say the words, “ive missed you my love.” and we kiss watching the sunset, watching the bright sky turn into beautiful stars. i will always love you L and i will always be here waiting.

This song reminds me of a girl who I am very very close with. I have never felt this way about a girl ever in my life. We are closer than friends, but still friends. I treated her so well, and she hasn’t noticed. I tried so hard to get her to like me but she never liked me back. I spent 95% of my summer with this girl and I feel like I could never live a single day without her. We have developed this bond that I will never forget. This girl sadly will never see us more than friends which is okay, but it hurts more than I can explain. This song takes me back to when me and her first started to be friends. I just wish I could be better and maybe one day she might like me back, but I know that will never happen.

i know most people associate this song with drifting apart from a loved one, but it’s been almost a year since the pandemic hit close to my town as i’m sure it’s hit everyone’s. and i can’t help but cry at the thought that we’ll never get the time we lost back. my senior year of hs was ended in march and i remember all of my friends thinking we’ll just have a week to relax, and all of a sudden the entire world shut down. i could care less about the events i missed like prom, i just wish i could’ve hugged my friends that day and told them how much they meant to me. most of us have drifted apart and are in college or working, i pray they’re all safe. listening to franks songs just makes me miss them so much, even the people i wasn’t all that close to. the faces i would see in the hallway, i wonder if they’re okay and happy. my issues are microscopic compared to those who have lost a loved one due to this terrible virus, and i hope if you’re suffering bc of covid be it physically, financially, or mentally, that you’re okay. we will get through this, and we’ll come out stronger when it is over. stay safe, i love you.

Was looking through our old texts and I sent this video to her. 12/3/2019. 10 days later I asked for her to be my girlfriend. After almost 4 years of up and down, our chapter came to a close. It wasn't the first time we split, but this time it felt final. I miss her everyday and it feels like a routine missing from my life. Looking back, I wasn't the ideal person to be with, I let my insecurities win me over. I know people say it gets better with time, she's just someone I don't want to have faded memories to appease me. A lot has changed now, but I hope she knows I'm out there thinking of her

this really hits me personally. both these songs are so beautiful and make me look at how i view relationships. both people may be stuck on each other but eventually you learn to keep your love apart. even if it isn’t what you wanted you grow in ways you never thought possible.
