Yeah, at the CCO I got them from $20 to $45. I'll tell you something ... I've decluttered each one of them 😐😑. You know I love me my Amazon sponge tip applicators. 30-pc pack for about $7. And, each tip has 2 sides and it's double-sided. So, the 30-pack is 120 tips 😏 And, yes, your makeup is 🔥

Oh wow! Well if they are not serving you, at least you didn't pay full price lol. Yes the ones from Amazon are so much better! Those ones in the TF quads look like they came from Dollar Tree. Nothing wrong with Dollar Tree, you know I love my cheap makeup. But for a luxury brand to charge that much for some basic eyeshadow and not even include at least a brush is ridiculous to me.

Love a good roast! Gurl, turn up the heat. Someone want to get their panties in a bunch and be offended, they can go ahead and jump into the fire 😂. Being non-inclusive is a bad business strategy. Businesses are to make money, right? So, I don't understand leaving out certain demographics and populations. I won't beg any brand to take my money. We have too many options.

YASSSSS!!! Totally agree! I don't know why brands do that. There are some affordable brands that are not that inclusive either, like Physician's Formula. Their complexion products have an obismal shade range. so i tend to stay away from them unless I find something for a steal. And there are also too many brands that have amazing sales. Why pay full price for anything if you don't have to?

In case you are unaware Advent is a religious tradition marking the beginning of the liturgical year for those that practice Christianity...it was never intended to be used as a marketing ploy to fuel consumerism. I applaud you not wanting to support companies that promote grotesque wealth and those that purchase it just to show off said wealth by spending obscene amounts of money on frivolous items when there is such an obvious gap in wealth and classism that exists in the world.

Thank you for that insightful comment. I did not know the background behind the advent calendar. I just know you’re supposed to get a good value and I just don’t see the value in wasting money on some of these luxury brands. Even if I was in the upper echelon of society I would still stick to what I love and that is affordable makeup.

I don't understand all of the love for some of these brands. There are so many products that are not only cheaper, but legitimately better! I do like Chanel and Dior for fragrance, but I've never seen one of their products that made me feel inspired. Well...maybe that Dior Barbie pink blush, but then EVERYONE put out a Barbie pink blush and I got over it! I have a blush/highlight quad from Charlotte Tilbury and it looks gorgeous, but it blends away to nothing. There is a shade that is BRICK RED that somehow completely disappears?! I don't get it. I guess some people just have too much money and can't get rid of it fast enough! I wouldn't mind that problem... lol

I appreciate your input! Yes there are just way too many more affordable and reasonably priced indie brands that make high quality products. I remeber the Barbie pink blush craze. When that was happening, I searched my collection and found I did have a shade like that already in a BH Consmetics blush quad. I did end up getting a similar shade from the Sephora brand for only $10. Like why spend the money if you don't have to? I think even if I had the money to blow like that, I would still stick to my guns and not buy from these luxury brands. I just don't see the point and they just don't appeal to me. I could get so much more for my money.
