D2R Upgraded Sets - Hsarus' Defense (3 Piece Set)

Anyone @ LVL 3 would love this set. It gives you belt slots with a shield and attack rating so you can hit targets. I personally keep parts of this set for different characters. This be amazing for my next playthroughs Upgrading those boots be nice for my kick assassin built and keep the steamroller going. This set is simple, doesn't take alot of slots and you add other sets.

This is my favorite set to mix with Berserkers set. Then Angelics rings and amulet. Loads of fun at low levels.

this set is a great example of another easier change to add to set items: more ‘based on char level’ stuff. it’s not that bad if you could play on hell with some of these items.

Quite a few upgraded sets so far, this has been a really cool series, I hope you do some set combo series of these new upgraded items to show their possible use during early ladder as everyone is scrambing to get their uniques and runewords. I like having another option other than low runewords or the struggle to get a good belt with 12 slots. I think set belts will be clutch in normal simply because partial pieces and one upgrade gets the slots and stats we need.

I think when looking over the various set pieces, they are mostly not worth upgrading. And I don't just mean Hsarus, but in general. Shields and Weapons probably a little more than other pieces, and maybe Belts that are lacking potion slots(hwanin's belt IE:) The main reason is the level increase. I think if they got additional Set/piece bonuses upon being upgraded we could reconsider this decision, but otherwise I would look at this change more of a RP/Flavor thing.

Is it possible for you to do a video on Jade Talon? Currently have a MA assassin that managed to find a jade talon AND a Bartuc's Cut Throat, and I want to know if you recommend those or something different (especially with the new patch that buffs MA assassins coming up). Normally I wouldn't ask, but I found a video from you earlier that said you're willing to move items up in schedule a bit if someone asks in the comments, and this one's particularly time-sensitive for me right now, since I've got a couple rare weapons that are similar in power and I want this assassin to be nice and high level for the new patch. I can add them to the list, issue is I don't have the files for them. So I will have to figure something out Jade talon acts as an offhand weapon sort of similar to a shield. Keep in mind the effects on it don't work unless you are hitting with that weapon so a lot of the specific effects are wasted in the offhand slot.

@@GGMentor Good to know, thanks! I just really liked it, I thought it was cool to have an assassin weapon that gave +res, and it's really high res too. Not sure if I should have it in my off or on hand slot, choosing between it and Bartuc's. If I'm hitting with melee attacks for Phoenix Strike, I assume that it goes back and forth between the two? Does it not?

actually use this kit(belt-boots) as summon necromencer nightmare, I just didnt find anything else yet lol ! But extra defence is neat for extra protection in HC high diff

Everyone makes mistakes also kick Damage doesn't show on set items or bugged. Normal kick = 6-12 Exceptional kick = 23-52 Elite Kick = 9-118

Solid early level set yup, use it on a holy fire paladin and profit. You can also add in sigons helm and gloves for more AR 30% IAS and LL

I really hope someone sees this, I am still new in Diablo2 and Ginger Mentor here have been giving me so much guides on how to play. But, I haven't been able to upgrade this Hsarus myself, can anybody help? Thank you very much!

This set is amazingly easy to farm. All items have 1:80 on average to drop from Andariel, depending on MF, I think it was 1:100 for zero MF.

The AR bonus can be useful even into late game.
