My second favorite ring after Raven Frost. In fact the two go well together on a melee character, provided you have an additional source of mana steal.

Bul-Kathos' is every bit as essential to physical damage dealers as SoJ is to casters. What makes it BiS is its +1 to All Skills, which is one of the few mods that can boost the non-class-restricted Oskills found on Rune Words and Set bonuses. You can get vitality and life leech elsewhere, but when you've only got a ring slot available for +All Skills, Bul-Kathos' is it. In practice, you will never face a choice between BK and SoJ simply because you will have long since cashed in the SoJ.

I’ve been playing Diablo 2 since it came out. I was even playing Diablo 1 before that in the days where the godly plate of the whale was the ultimate god tier item. I thought it was funny when you said you’ve only ever found one stone of Jordan in your whole time playing this game, because I just found my first and only one two days ago on SP. Now I’m currently agonizing over whether to sell it or not to get an anny. Obviously anny is better as I have two BK rings already so I’d have an extra plus to skills on a small charm, but it’s hard to commit to selling it.

Well, make sure you can kill Uber Diablo before you sell it. He's a pretty tough cookie if you're not built for it

@@GGMentor Thanks for the advice. I have a hammerdin that does 11k with max block and res with hoto and hoz, tier upgraded skin of the viper magi, maras, 2 bk rings, 6skiller gcs and hq shako. Was thinking I could handle that as I regularly do p7 cows with no trouble. Either that or I was considering respecing into a smiter

Well, I accidentally forgot to change it to P1 first but I still managed to kill him after what felt like forever. Thank God I had a natures peace and smite hits all the time.

Soj is better for alot of characters BC that's base 20 mana then adds 25% more mana is huge additional mana pool. This effect is greater than Bul + life and that needs a buff BC 49 life isnt alot even with shouts.

Imo bul khatos is better, I never run into any mana issues on my wind druid at all

Basically the SOJ does its respective business better. If BK had a +25 base percentage buff to max life than we’re talking..

They should add 5% increased maximum life instead of Stamina

Bulk is nice but i rader get a double leech all res ring with a raven frost for a melee. I like it on caster that use insight. You wont miss mana anyway si use bulka for some life

That's makes sense, it's a wedding ring, Bul'kathos was known for his stamina in bed that's why they added the stamina to the ring.

I gambled this one a few times. And for SOJ, I found maybe 5-6 since the game came out, oddly I got 2 in 3 days once.
