I went full Energy Shield on my enchant sorc. Warmth is basically a soft synergy to Energy Shield anyways since you can regen back mana lost. I went with a Prayer/Insight/Cure merc for crazy life and mana regen. Dumped all my stat points into Energy instead of Vitality for a huge mana pool and regen. The flat life regen from Prayer keeps you topped off pretty well when you only have like 400 life. Gladiator's Bane is an excellent armor for this character too since flat MDR performs better than resists on ES builds and getting a ton of poison length reduction is important too. Surprisingly tanky.

Ive been running this build for a little while now with a kuko shakaku. I just havent found a raven frost yet, raventail, or demon machine. Ive been utilizing the 2 piece death sash and gloves to get that can not be frozen, some resists, life leach, major poison resit and ias. I find that 50% pierce works pretty well. Also surprising, the 3 piece of angelic, 2 rings and amulet, to solve my attack rating needs so i can double dip. Definitely doable with lower items, i even leave a hell rack in my bank so if i die, i can more easily get back to my body without dodging everything. I find life leach more important then mana, because I use an aim insight act 2 merc.

@@GGMentor no, thank you! also the Sorc can only achieve 11 frames. Chu-ko (-60) puts it at 12. in order to reach 11, you only need 8 IAS. [edit] also if you don't care about MF, then jam as many Fire charms (Flaming) as you can comfortably get, in there. it helps.

@@wbwright79I didn’t know it was that low a breakpoint and was able to switch my gear to run ormus robes with IAS jewel, and soul drainer gloves then only put 10 points for energy shield and maxed chain lightning instead.. no flickflame no sunder and everything melts still. Thank you 🙏

For a mild budget alternative for the merc weapon, Hustle. She will start attacking as soon as you teleport near something, and you guarantee you are in range of the Fanta. It has made Mephisto kills noticeably faster. Very fun indeed.

​@@mikemurray3962 I did some math and testing, if you have any other source of IAS, you completely do not need the Fanta as you will be at max attack frames. I changed my budget weapon to an upgraded Kuko Shakaku Cedar Bow for the 50% pierce. The merc was doing more damage, but so would just getting a higher damage bow or piece if you are attacking multiple enemies.

Now THIS is and has been my favourite build for SO many years. I haven't found a Demon Machine on single player yet since D2R so I'm using Kuko Shakaku but with the new pierce helmet it works almost as well

The extra points could probably go frozen armor if it makes the enemy stay frozen longer, I haven’t checked to see if it’s true. If not than just energy shield it up or hydras for single bosses like Baal and Uber Diablo

Better off with Cold Mastery Honestly, as the lower the cold resistance of the monster the longer Cold Effects Last. Pretty sure points in cold mastery have a greater effect on duration than points in frozen armor.

Yes you could do that, also synergize the fireballs too. One of the issues with this though is the high synergy cost.

I'd do hellmouth gloves for extra procs.. that is if the fire explosion triggers the procs.. The flat fire damage bonuses from the gloves should work well with fire mastery.

enchant with a Ravenclaw, then move on to a Kuko, then eventually the demon machine. Stack points in Warmth early on and just use a Chippy bow.(3 socket bow with chipped elemental gems) that carries you far enough to get enchant and and the ravenclaw. then once you have ravenclaw and enchant you play it that way for quite some time. You can also throw in Iratha's Set for the 24% pierce which helps tremendously. Until you can get access to the native pierce on Kuku or Demon machine/ razor tail.

Well flickering flame covers the lost fire resistance from the fire sunder. Which helps a ton. Also you get more negative res with flickering flame. I guess it depends if you really need the FCR

Mist bows are nice but they are mainly designed for the act 1 mercenary. What kind of Bow Amazon are you running? Physical, Ice, Fire? A mist can be a decent placeholder until you get a Windforce or a Faith. Both will do you better than a Mist. Windforce is surprisingly cheap and is a very good bow for physical bowzons only just barely beaten by Faith.

It will be difficult to break fire immunity without a sunder charm. You can use an infinity to try to break fire res, but it won't always work. It will be a lot harder due to the high frequency of fire immunes.

You can get this build easy to 21k dmg with some 5enchant prebuff staff or memory, enchant ormus, 3sk add amu, Soj+raven, magefist. Soc 15ias/ar Jewel in dm. Amazing fun build. Cheers ggm:)

Yup, enchant prebuffing is a whole activity. It gets mighty expensive though to hit the max numbers.

It's doable, you need a decent amount of negative fire res, and you also need prevent monster heal for Uber Diablo. As for Uber tristram I don't think so it's too much in there. Perhaps if you used marrow walks for the bone prison. Prevent monster heal also doesn't work on the Uber tristram bosses so you need open wounds and poison damage to arrest regeneration.

Piercing, The reason I use Mist is because it's 100% The goal is the same as the sorc you want her exploding arrows to pierce and do maximum damage with your enchant.

You don't NEED Demon Machine. You can use Ravenclaw, Kuko Shakaku, or Hellrack just fine. Just Shael them. Kuko even gives 33% pierce.

could shael ya, but you can only get added leach through perfect skull where-as you can get more IAS from 15 ias jewels. Find a nice one with maybe 60 + AR and 15 IAS and throw it in a body or helmet. Just use warren1001 IAS calculator to see Your potentials

I got a 15 IAS 59 AR jewel socketed in a twitchthroe which I upgraded to trellised armor. at 35% IAS it absolutely slaps

I think by "You need" is like saying You can use full Mavina instead of Windforce on a Bowazon. Ya You can, but its just not great. His setup here is OP and he's actually doing damage. Kuko is a nooby bow compared

You need 100% pierce to get full effectiveness of the build. the only bow capable of 100% piercing is Demon Machine. Demon Machine has 66% pierce which when tied together with the 33% piercing belt Razortail is 99% pierce. All of the damage of this setup comes from piercing, as I demonstrate in the video. Ravenclaw works decently on a low level enchantress, and kuko can be a decent placeholder until you get demon machine. But neither of them have enough pierce to properly take advantage of the multiplicative damage of the explosive arrow. Hellrack is out completely because it's too slow, and the requirements are insane.

@@GGMentor Yeah sure and you need Enigma to play the game and you need Infinity to play the game and you need to use an act 2 merc to play the game. I get it. Kuko, Razortail, Wisdom helm is 100% pierce and frankly 66% is enough if you can't get your hands on one or the other. I'm not saying Kuko is better than Demon Machine but like - I farm Hell Cows with a Kuko and Wisdom alone and clear it fast and I sort of use that as the benchmark of build viability, especially because I play single player these days.

Sure. As a Enchant sorc you don't need mana, so you use energy shield to absorb damage with your mana instead. Life Leech, and Mana Leech are both based on physical damage. If you leave the demon machine un-upgraded it does low physical damage and has relatively no leech potential. Adding a Dual Leech ring drastically increases survivability by restoring both mana and health as needed. Upgrading the Demon Machine increases base damage which also increases the leech potential of the bow. Allowing for the leech to be more effective as keeping your mana and health topped off. Sincerely energy shield allows your mana to act as an extension of your health pool. So mana steal effectively becomes an extension of life Leech in this scenario.

@GGMentor Life leech maybe, but as you demonstrated, the mana comes back ridiculously fast just by having warmth and a decent mana pool. Mana leech is a drop in the bucket by comparison. Get a high MP ring with life steal or a SoJ to help regen even more. The stats to get the upgraded xbow nullify any gain you might see from mana leech.

@@JoeBizzle there's no such thing as too much mana. What happens is monsters who have Mana Burn, or extremely large amounts of damage can burn through the mana with just warmth. Many people use insight to shore up issues with mana Regen, but that's a stop gap measure. Adding in mana leech can free you from insight and more towards an infinity in the build which ups your overall damage. The general problem with Energy Shield is #1 You never want to run out even if it's for an instant. #2 If you run out even for an instant energy shield will turn off which means death. So having multiple sources of mana regen/steal can help prevent #1 and #2 Dual Leech serves both purposes, keeping your mana always topped up, and keeping your HP always topped up. Even in the most dire of situations.

I really think you can upgrade the Act 1 Merc by replacing Mist with Kuko Shikaku which will make her shoot all the time explosive arrows. Meanwhile you can become Immortal Sorc with Normal gear Gerke Sanctuary Gladiators Bane and the Merc will destroy everything. You only need to provide her with Enchant and just cast Static Field when teleporting to new area. so Merc build can be Bow:Upgraded Kuko Shakaku to Shadow Bow Armor: Fortitude Helm: Flickering Flame For single target such as Baal you can cast Fire Wall

No the explosion on kuko does not work on the act 1 bow girl even if it gives the visual effect it doesn't actually work. This means 100% Pierce is more important from mist

You completely missed the purpose of demon machine over kukoshakako. You need way less ias to reach max frame rate than you would the kuko bow.

Yes, but the Max IAS for Demon Machine is lower than the bow. So while demon machine is natively faster, kuko is faster at its cap. The real benefit of going with demon machine is the additional pierce.
