Chuu is one HELL of a singer. She is like the power vocal of Loona. Kim Lip (the blonde one) has the really smooth r&b type vocals.

So the thing with LOONA is that there are no “set” positions of main, lead, or sub. It’s just labeled as vocalist, dancer and/or rapper. This is to show that they are adaptable to any performance aspect. According to their KProfile, all of them have a vocalist position, 11 of them have rapper positions, and 7 of them have dance positions. But all 12 of them are incredibly well rounded.

Chuu was confirmed to be the Main Vocalist on : How Do You Play?, Law of the Jungle, ChuuCanDoIt and Radio Star. So she must definitely be the Main Vocalist, otherwise they wouldn't be sending that PR memo to these variety TV shows. Kim Lip was confirmed to be the Main Vocalist on : King of Mask Singer. Chuu is the one doing the belted highnote. Haseul has also confirmed that Chuu is the one doing the headvoice runs in last chorus of PTT.
