1:05:10 - Would have been interesting to see Snapcaster target Verdict, bounce with Jace then Verdict, then get to a Snap -> Angel situation over the next turn

@4:55 Steve Rubin activates jace to brainstorm and I could swear I seen him find Diabolic Edict but I think he puts it back and shuffles it away with a fetch land, which makes no sense considering thats his best card in this match up. I dont have his deck list after all this time but it could be Hymm of Tourac instead of Edict

I feel like most problems in legacy could be fixed if you just play Rest in peace.

It's making me uncomfortable how far Steve's cards are coming out of their sleeves

Its called “edging the sleeve” When you shuffle or what not or deck flick it can tell you what card it is He was cheating to a degree You would put certain cards to the edge of the sleeve so you can know if you need to shuffle

I’m having to listen without sound, so I’m probably missing something. Can someone tell me why Rubin lost game one when he couldn’t find the Edict? He could’ve used Liliana for the Edict effect and been fine.

Dark Depths activation happened on End Step, as usual.

Travis Duncan Sam made the token at the end of Steve’s turn I believe so Steve was dead on Sam’s turn.

Alright y’all thanks for the answers. Not used to watching Lands play so I didn’t think about end step activations lol

Not saying matchup is even or anything but Steve was very VERY unlucky with his starting hand in game two compared to Sam's starting hand - the good old discard hand vs mono lands while Sam was drawing only spells from top of his deck. Worth noticing how one sided the whole game two was since Sam barely even listens Steve's arguments after the game since there was literally nothing Steve could have done better.
