The tech at 1:23 and again at 8:05 is actually insane. Using 100 meter to increase JR meter in order to get more ticks of true damage to guarantee the kill. You have to be acutely aware of the opponent's health and your exact tension and JR for that to pay off.

In the second case he didn't increase his JR meter though. He just used 50 meter to do an additional 6H without any JR gain. I'm pretty sure there was a better way to deal more damage in this case. Instead of going into JR after 6H, I think something like 214H RC 6H super would have been better. But maybe he knew his route was already enough to finish the round.
