He’s able to do it because he was already charging the horizontal dolphin while running away from Jack-O. May tried out Far Slash and reacted to the counter hit with an immediate Horizontal Dolphin. He knew the counter hit would cause Jack-O to float a fair bit, so he did a short dolphin and continued the combo from there. Slash is smart and has good reactions, but you can do this too. It won’t be common, but try to take advantage of the situation when it occurs.
