I have such a hard time with this game, the last fighting game I played was KI outside of the combo assist it just felt easier all together. In this game i can't do anything consistently. I'd just end up looking like these guys

it takes time, but you will get there. imo the tutorial levels in this one are pretty good and teach you all the mechanics you should know, like what could combo with x move and the like, and everything about the different kinds of bursts too. after that just pick whoever you like more, be it gameplay wise or design wise and try everything out. you dont really have to train that much to get to, say, the 5th floor or so. good luck!
