I know Baiken has always had monster counters, but seeing someone counter a super into a slam I can't help but think about her time in SamSho, that she took a trip to Geese Tower and had group meeting with Geese, who was busy arguing with Heihachi about how its better to grab and slam your opponent instead of taking the hit and kicking them.

I miss Baiken's move from XX + R where she spun her sword around in front of the opponent. Also her slam move by pressing LP after her grapple move was pretty sick from Xrd. Still, Strive Baiken seems to have some cool moves of her own like the tether and the fireworks gun. (I promise I play GG I'm just bad with move names lol)

Think it's c.HS, and I like that Baiken has completely changed throughout AC+R, Xrd, and Strive. Haven't gotten the chance to play her yet but she seems cool

Same the only moves are remember are the simple and english ones. Like gun flame, tyrant rave, volcanic viper, stun edge. Basically sol and ky moves.

I feel like +R Baiken's a bit too much for me (or maybe I just suck lol) and Strive Baiken needs a bit more options. I never played Xrd but gosh Xrd Baiken has my fav kit and I hope they bring that back, or at least the Kabari into slam dunk and maybe Suzuran

My friend plays nago and i used baiken We played over 110 games. Lost track of time and everything. That match up is so fucking fun despite nago having the slight advantage.

@@chrisredeo4847 He has a mechanic where he is supposed to manage his resource gauge by keeping it from filling up completely. After 4 specials* he pops and enters a fail state where he will drain about 50% of his health. Yeah Nago players don't have time for that. They will spam specials, pop in your face, spam enhanced normals, mask on, then spam specials again. If you survive all that then congratulations, you won and they killed themselves, if you don't then you died in like 2 interactions probably. Nah he can be fun to play against, and not all Nago players are like that.... just most.

Honestly, she feels like she has half a kit, even by strive standards. The counter does a lot of damage but is unreliable and risky to attempt. The tether is detrimental against many opponents. Even 2 out of 3 of Gobou's wins here came from Kyo messing up, not from his own play.
