because if you whiff it you get blown up. It's only active for like 7 frames; its the same reason why you don't see a lot of wakeup DPs. Very powerful option, but over half your health is gone if they decide to wait a quarter of a second between pressing buttons. Case in point; watch the last match of the set. Baiken whiffed two parries and she got blown up for it. It's not a move you can throw out willy nilly

@@KidGamerMsd 3:48 was the first one of the last round; Leffen called out the parry by backdashing instead of continuing pressure. 4:05 was very mistimed, idk what was happening there, might've thought that the blocked gold burst would still leave Aba in range to punish. First one definitely wasnt an awful time though
