i mean delayed attack helps catch opponent of guard if he decides to backdash or jump, but your idea is basically suzuran from xrd which also have armor, i hope it's going to be him as new move 🙏

zando is probably the best asuka in the world. no disrespect to defazy but I don't think they're the same caliber. this is a tough matchup for her though.

@@tire_iron488 Even if Asuka is hard to master, I'm kinda convinced he's a "Choose To Lose" tier character and has no reason losing any match-up. Lmao

@bluawesome1583 My apologies if this comes off as rude, but I find your post intriguing; because one of the main reasons why Gobou has switched from an Asuka main, to an A.B.A main, is because he was discouraged and frustrated with all of Asuka's losing match-ups - the uncontested best Asuka player in the world - but I guess those of you who think otherwise in this comment section must know best; despite the fact that you probably don't play Asuka - or most definitely not at the level of Gobou's Asuka. Moreover, what I commonly see in this comment section, is that people watch one-sided matches on this channel (there are some of many characters, like Sol) of top Asuka players beating random players (like in this one), become angry and post an emotionally-charged response. Further, if Asuka gets nerfed in the next balance patch, at the point where he's low tier, people who commonly bemoan will find another character to complain about, and the cycle will continue. This is based off of my observations regarding posts and behavioral patterns on this channel... it happened with Zato, it happened with Chaos, and I'm sure Asuka will follow if he gets weakened again. Now I'm not saying that you absolutely cannot have an opinion, or hate the character; the point I'm trying to make here, is that when making a statement that speaks for all Asuka players like, "Asuka has no business/reason losing any match-up," it's best to use more than one video as an example, and you shouldn't be living vicariously through these matches, either......

@@waitingforzato-1i-noinguil301 Nah you're good! I'm not offended at all. But nah, I get what you mean. Hell, I wish I could play as good as most of the people that pop up on this channel. I play Elphelt (and am exploring other characters in the meantime) and just revolve between Floors 7-10. So like...I'd get completely waxed by anyone when I do reach Floor 10. Lmao I understand Asuka does have weaknesses. Though at high level, it just looks like he has very little or no weaknesses in some matchups to where he's clearly dominating the round, but then he decides to do one thing different and it snowballs from there. That's what I kinda mean by "Choose To Lose." Cause if he probably didn't do the option he did, he likely would've been fine. Though, I haven't played Strive for a *ton* of time. I've been playing since Elphelt came out around last December, so I likely don't have much of a right to make hard judgments. Haha
@waitingforzato-1i-noinguil3017 ай бұрын
@bluawesome1583 Fair enough. With the short length of time you've had playing the game, I can't expect you to see things the same way as high level or even top players. Strive is also essentially a completely different game whether you play on the lower levels, or on Celestial, so again, I can understandyour point of view. Regarding high level Asuka: I think it's important to know that once a top level Asuka player gets started, then match-ups no longer matter; and players such as Gobou have given viewers the impression that Asuka is invincible, and Asuka the character is Gobou's Asuka - when the converse is true - Asuka the character is not Gobou's Asuka; Gobou is the exception - otherwise every top player that uses Asuka would be on his level, when nobody to this day is. Last, when you mentioned mistakes that Asuka players make/made that cost them the round, not to sound condescending or anything, but you have to remember that Asuka is an RNG-based character - unlike characters such as Elphelt, A.B.A, or Baiken - which are characters you, the player controls in a some-what predictable fashion; Asuka controls _you_ . As Asuka, you can try to predict which spells come next and plan accordingly, but that will never be with 100% accuracy. With that being said, you either adapt to Asuka, or lose; and if you're in a tough situation and have no attack spells, then you most likely lost anyway; and in addition to that, unlike most season 1-2 top tiers like Zato, May, Nago, Sol, Leo, or Ram - where you can get away with making 2-3 mistakes during a round and still be okay - at the highest level, you're only allowed to make 1 or no mistakes as Asuka - otherwise you risk losing the whole round/set. I understand that Asuka is difficult to fight and a very strong character, but there is way more going on, and much more risks associated with Asuka than what meets the eye.
