Once upon a time Carly was Sonny's 2nd choice, he thought Brenda was dead. Brenda herself was his 2nd choice multiple times, 1st after Karen dumped him for Jagger, then after Lily died. We were told over & over again that Kate/Connie was his 1st love, only to learn that he had a baby with Olivia 1st. The only woman whoever really came 1st in Sonny's life was his momma.
