Why do I think this plan is more dangerous than anything else? Ava's words "Esme is a jealous, possessive psychopath", (paraphrasing I don't remember what order she put those adjectives in) ... a psychopath doesn't care about the consequences of what she does ... Cameron the best thing you can do is dump joss and play Esme a little bit longer till she cracks with the evidence/proof to take her down because she had a moment of weakness towards him which could work in his favor. Ava might be on to something if that plan actually works with Trina making Esme jealous but I think she should come clean about Spencer being her alibi at his mother’s grave where she did not once use her phone when she was with him to establish a timeline to rule her out of this situation.
