It just bothers me, b/c if this was Olivia, I KNOW FOR A CERTAIN, that DANTE WOULD NOT BE QUITE SO COMPOSED!!!!!!! He made it VERY CLEAR, when NED'S and OLIVIA'S RENEWAL WHEN HE & SAM were leaving, with what he said to his mom!!!!!!! SO...I don't think Dante can be as objective as he says he is. I think he's starting to be hypocritical and would be wise to tell BOTH Michael and his Dad what his response would be if Sonny had done this Olivia?!?!? I thought that Dante was a good voice of reason in the beginning. BUT...I KNOW DAMN WELL, if JASON WAS ALIVE, HE WOULD PROBABLY HATE NINA!!!!!!!!

Dante was in this position when Sonny cheated on Ava when he was with Olivia. Dante’s mother wasn’t hurt. Dante’s girlfriend wasn’t forced to testify about their father’s relationship with his abductor. Dante’s child isn’t being put in the middle of this mess. He has no idea what’s Michael’s feelings and position are like.

Sonny can keep insisting that he didn’t want the divorce, but he was the one who chose to ignore Carly’s request for space and time to come to terms with his lies, throw a big, fancy romantic gesture for her which was actually just an ultimatum to do what Sonny wanted, exactly when Sonny wanted it, and when Carly didn’t arrive to the party she didn’t want in accordance with Sonny’s timetable, Sonny decided that the marriage was over and hopped into bed with Nina. He didn’t even have the decency to wait until the next day. He literally used a recreation of their wedding to have sex with the woman who kept him from his family for months and months. And after all that, he thinks he gets to blame Carly for wanting a divorce. He didn’t have to stop having feelings for Nina to stop actively defending her to his family. He could have considered how much Nina’s lie hurt his wife and children - especially the little children - and realize that defending her in court was a betrayal. He could have stopped trying to convince Michael to allow the woman who lied repeatedly to everyone, to have some sort of visitation. Instead of choosing his family, he chose Nina. He chose the divorce, and the estrangement from his son. Sonny was the one who told Michael that he slept with Nina, not Carly. Carly did not ask her kids to choose sides. She told them not to choose sides. They chose the family, and Sonny chose Nina. That’s why they’re not speaking to him anymore.

That’s exactly what I keep saying too. Michael has every right to be angry and want to distance himself but is it really necessary to cut Sonny out of his life for good? When Sonny killed AJ I understood then why he wanted nothing to do with him but this situation is really between Sonny and Carly, so for Michael to act this way is really annoying. I think it’s time Kristina talk to Michael and maybe he will listen.

Dante chose Sonny’s side. All of the talk about Michael being self-righteous when Dante is the same. Maybe even worse because he’s a Detective with a father that’s a criminal, but he’s cool with it now. Lol. Dante needs to stay out of this.

💯!!! Ugh.... it's like the writers are taking Tweets from fans and making it dialogue. Everyone knows Michael is not self-righteous, especially when it comes to Sonny and Nina. He is 100% morally superior. Sonny is a mob boss that kills or tries to kill people who get in his way (killed AJ, tried to kill Jax-his step-daughter's dad, shot Dante, etc.). He always believes he's the one in the right, hence why he's blaming Carly for their divorce. And, he truly believes being a "family man" (his own version) absolves him from all his sins. According to the show's history, Nina was troubled BEFORE the coma (she pushed someone down the stairs). Yes, what happened to her while she was in a coma was horrible, but almost every character on the show- including her current targets, Michael and Willow- have experienced major traumas. Yet, you don't necessarily see other characters target entire families because of a vendetta against one character. You also don't necessarily see other characters viciously induce their enemy's labor and steal her baby, then afterwards convince themselves that baby is theirs(Michael's sister, so trauma for him again despite not being the intended target), nor visit a family while simultaneously keeping the secret their loved one is alive because they're mad at ONE person in said family. And, she's historically a bully to anyone she dislikes or challenges her.... like now, escalating things with Michael and Willow when they repeatedly gave her chances, she blew it, they set boundaries, she ignored, etc. Also, she believes saying "I'm sorry" or " I didn't mean for it to happen" absolves her from all her sins. They're both selfish characters that create destruction wherever they go, yet have convinced themselves of moral superiority (the truly self-righteous ones), and act like everyone should forgive them bevause they're "good" people. In comparison/contrast, a list of Michael's "sins" that fans like to use to attempt to villainize him more than Sonny and Nina: As a teenager, Michael accidentally killed Claudia when he hit her to stop her from harming Carly and Joss (and, he wanted to turn himself in, but ALL his adults messed up by hiding him, and he suffered MAJOR consequences); he utilized his status to gain custody of Avery AFTER Sonny killed his bio dad, and Michael thought Avery would be safer with him AND wanted Sonny to hurt like he was hurting (who can truthfully blame him); he and Kiki accidentally fell in love, kissed once, felt bad because they had no intention for that to happen, were told they were cousins, and things became convulated from there (and, that's not as bad as Kiki and Morgan drugging him); he had sex with his girlfriend/ex-wife, Willow, once during her fake marriage to Chase, a lie he didn't want to engage in, but Willow thought it best to support Chase when he was sick (and, this was after Chase lied to them about the affair, watched them fall in love during their marriage, decided to tell Willow about the lie the night he walked in on them consumating their marriage, and pursued/kissed Willow when she was still married to Michael, who was grieving Sonny at that time- not the best thing for Millow to sleep together once when she was technically married, but it was extreme, emotional circumstances and they told Chase the truth, that they were already a couple when he got sick, right after). NONE of these things are on the same level of Sonny and Nina and the destruction they cause. Plus, Michael takes accountability, unlike them). And, now, Michael is rightfully angry at the woman who watched him and his family grieve and had the key to stopping that grief, yet decided to just visit Wiley instead (and, the daughter she's defending was responsible for a lot more trauma). Then, she decided to blow up his family by sleeping with his father. And, Michael's mad at Sonny for choosing to protect the flavor of the month AGAIN over him (like how Michael was in a coma bevause Sonny protected Kate from a bullet). Michael's reaction may seem harsh right now, but it's also a reaction based on cumulative trauma Sonny and Nina have caused him over the years because of their actions. And, once again, he's typically one to take accountability for his actions even if he was the one wronged. Personally, if Michael wants to destroy their reputations and empires, it's about time- no apologies, just do it (and I hope Willow is right by his side). Maybe Nina and Sonny will finally learn there are repercussions for their actions. Michael's had to take accountability for things in his life that are no where as severe as the legit crimes they've committed- and characters/ are acting like he's the one in the wrong right now when he's in the right- so why not make him be the one to finally hold them accountable (and for the Carly haters that may see this... if Carly was behaving the same way towards Michael that Nina and Sonny are, I'd feel the same). Ok, now that I'm done preaching to the choir 🤣🤣🤣 Anything to add to that comparison list, Kirstyn?

@@EC-echooflove Yes to all of this. I agree. I would absolutely want Michael to act like this if it was Carly behaving like Sonny is. I just can’t deal with Dante. He preaches about nobody being perfect like he isn’t self-righteous and always sees things in black & white until it’s convenient and benefits him. He knew Sonny was responsible for what happened to those thugs and he just looked the other way. He can’t be a good Detective and have a relationship with his criminal father. Dante was in this position when Sonny was with Olivia and he cheated on her with Ava. Hell, he recently told Ned he would hurt him if Ned hurt Olivia again. Dante’s mother wasn’t hurt this time by Sonny. Dante’s girlfriend wasn’t forced to testify about their father’s relationship with his abductor. Dante’s child hasn’t been put in the middle of this mess. Dante needs to mind his business. Michael didn’t want to talk about it. Dante should’ve left it alone, but Michael’s the bad guy. Lol. I wonder how much Dante’s opinions and thoughts would be if he knew what Sonny said to Michael about him having to beg, telling Nina to go for Michael’s jugular, or telling Drew that Michael is going to need all the help he could get. This isn’t one sided. Sonny is very much in attack mode and Michael has right to defend himself. This isn’t the man that raised Michael to be family above everything. It doesn’t make sense to Michael that Sonny is coming harder at him than he did to Nina. What Sonny fails understand is Michael’s is escalating because of Sonny’s lack of caring about why Michael is angry, hurt, and upset.

@@EC-echooflove I have a feeling Dante is going to be eating a lot of crow because Sonny is going slip up and say some things about Michael like he has to Nina and Drew. I’m also tired about people mentioning that Michael wasn’t this angry when Sonny killed AJ. So Michael’s just never supposed to be angry with Sonny ever again? This isn’t just an individual act, it’s an accumulation of everything Sonny has done to Michael. Michael’s a father and essentially a husband now. He can’t just think about how life affects him. People saying they can’t take his anger seriously because of AJ… Okay. That’s how it works with Soap Operas now? I can’t take any relationship seriously that Laura has because she was married to her rapist for years. I can’t take Sonny being a boss seriously because he let Ava get away with killing Connie & Morgan and now what Nina has done. I can’t take Anna & Valentin being world class Super Spies seriously because they let Peter get away for so long. I can’t take Ned caring about family seriously when he had an affair with Monica. There are so many characters that have forgiven things, especially from people that they love on Soap Operas. Michael is no different.
