For all her 101 good reasons for keeping the secret, she still had no excuse. I'm no fan of Curtis and his insufferable self, but if he is Trinas father, she stole 20 yrs of him getting to know his daughter.

I can honestly see where Portia was coming from. Curtis was gone… Marcus was her husband and would raise Trina with her. Who knows if Curtis would’ve wanted to raise a baby with Portia. BUT once Curtis came back into Portia’s life she should’ve fessed up

I think it's worse that they don't know who the father is than Trina actually being Curtis's daughter. Now they have to drag out another week sitting around on pins and needles waiting on paternity test results. This is so annoying.

I think the paternity test is going to be another fight. I don't think Trina and Marcus will want a paternity test since for them it won't change anything. But Curtis will push for one. Trina will have to consent and I have a feeling she won't. Because if Curtis is her biofather it's going to change the boundaries they've established. Curtis was acting like a father before he knew he could be father. It's going to be diffulicult for her to establish her independence if Curtis is her biofather

Finally Curtis sees the real Portia. A liar, Jordan doesn't look so bad now huh? Yes Jordan lied, but… He didn't hide a son from Curtis. Curtis knows full well who TJ's father is... If Curtis doesn't divorce Portia, he's a hypocrite who doesn't respect his own moral code. She divorced Jordan for much less.

But Jordan did the same thing to Curtis brother Tommy with TJ’s paternity. And actually what she did was prob worse because Shawn was Tommy best friend. So they both are equally liars. If he can forgive Jordan for that even though it wasn’t directly to him, he should be able to eventually forgive Portia.

@@MzFabo1 Indeed, Jordan's lie had no direct consequence on Curtis. The matter was between her and Curtis' brother. Also from the wiki, the situation between her, Shawn and Tommy are completely different. Jordan was undercover at the time TJ was conceived. Also, from the wiki: 'On May 22, 2015, Jordan confirmed that Shawn, not Tommy, is in fact T.J.'s father.' Jordan knew who the father was, on the contrary Portia, who decided to open her legs without asking to take precautions... luckily she should be a doctor!

@@ShadowSoul92 very true! Cuz even if she decided to just keep the secret that was extremely naive of her to not find out especially as a doctor. Trina better be Curtis kid cuz if not she just put them all through hell and trashed her whole relation with everyone for absolutely nothing. I still don’t understand why all this time she been sneaking around tryna get medical history reports and stuff done when she could have just do the dna test herself. She live with both of them! How hard is it to get a dna sample from a cup, brush, anything???

What if Trina had gotten sick as a child and needed blood or a kidney she didn't think about the possibility that Trina could've gotten sick as a baby and she didn't think about the ramifications of her choices and this is something that I never would've forgiven her for

General Hospital is not the type of show to leave something like this ambiguous so one way or another we’re going to find out who the true father is. I hope they end up saying it’s Taggert cuz Taggert doesn’t deserve to lose his blood tie to Trina especially after he faked his death to try and protect her and keep her safe. I’m really hoping that the fact that they outright haven’t revealed if Trina and Stella matched with each other is setting it up for them to reveal that Taggert is in fact Trina’s father

Don't care for how the climax of the storyline unfolded but as the convo btwn Curtis & Portia progressed, I cld sympathize with Portia. Can't stand in judgement of her affair with Curtis (Husbands often begin to neglect their spouse blindly, an individal has needs, if those needs are not being met at home). Upon learning she was married, curtis ended the affair n she then reconciled with Taggart. Shortly thereafter, she learned she was pregnant, learning who the father was at that time would have only complicated matters, so she became paralyzed with fear n it simply was a question she did not want to know the answer too. Marshal served curtis well in givning fatherly advice predicated on life experience/wisdom. Personally, i could not move past portia's poor judgement and failure to level with me. I would file for an annulment & keep it moving (But then again, i have never dealt well with what i deem betrayal or dishonesty, esp from those closest to me).
