It seems like she doesn’t want to make him choose between her and the baby. It seems like Spencer doesn’t get that she can understand the living situation and still not like it. We all picked up on the fact that she was uncomfortable when she asked if he was going back to Sonny’s. I feel like Laura should have picked up on it. Wish she would have counseled her grandson. (Though Trina warned him previously that a baby would affect all of his relationships so…. 🤷‍♀️)

@@vjones4769 I don’t think Trina wants Spencer to choose between her and the baby (although that would be nice). I think she just wants some boundaries established. Spencer doesn’t need to accompany Esme everywhere she goes and he doesn’t need to live under the same roof as her. It’s a reasonable ask and Trina should speak up and say that. He is not a baby daddy. I’m sure between Laura and Victor they could have Esme under surveillance if they were really concerned about her movements with the baby.

(Or maybe she doesn’t realize that asking him for boundaries doesn’t mean she’s asking him to choose. Hopefully I’m makings sense). For a guy with infinite resources Spencer’s plans seem very small scale. Surveillance would make a lot more sense. And lead to better drama if they were found out. Like dude… couldn’t you rent the apartment next door? I’m sure Ava would have loosened the purse strings for that (or even his uncle Victor 😬 would have helped out.)

Cosmic joke? More like the writers joke. They have been building Sprina for almost 2 years now, and yet they have yet to fully commit to them, just giving them little nuggets here and there. It's exhausting and frustrating. And I'm tired of Trina voicing her concerns to others and not Spencer. Let that boy know. Dear god, that important convo Spencer and Trina are supposed to have on 4/4 better hit all the marks because I'm bout ready to throw in the towel.

How long have you been watching soaps? A 2 year build for a couple is not that long in the soap world. I waited longer than that for Sami and EJ to get together.

@B Lee I've been watching soaps on and off since 2001. 2 years is not a long time for a soap couple, and perhaps if I felt Sprina were in better hands than the current writers, it would feel easier to endure and even earned. Unfortunately, I feel like there's no clear plan for what they are trying to do for Spencer and Trina and the fact that the same thing that has played a main factor in keeping them apart is STILL the thing that's hindering them 2 years later is ridiculous and overused.

So let me get this straight spencer didn't ask trina as a date to the NB they will just meet there as what as friends.
