I love how Spencer took that beating with a smile on his face. The way he played along with Curtis and gave him Trina's location, not to mention taking the attention away from Curtis when the guards noted they didn't recall seeing him before. Look, I'm still no fan of Curtis Ashford but I think he's witnessing Spencer and Trina's bond up close and I'm not saying he's going to be supportive of their relationship but at least he'll know and maybe even help Portia to understand that what's between them is real and that Spencer would do anything for her daughter.

I agree with you and I really liked how Curtis is acting. Spencer is very smart to tell where Trina is. You have to think quick on your feet. When him and Trina get back home, they will never forget this ordeal and will be closer.

Agreed, I'm not ready to cosign on the dotted line for Curtis, but even he can't deny what's there. Portia is going to f*ck up, pushing her daughter even closer to Spencer (not that that's a problem, it's only a problem for her because she won't have a relationship with her) and I wonder who she'll blame for that. Portia keeps revisiting the confrontation between her and Trina the day of her wedding, but she only has herself to blame for the fallout. Also I feel like she's playing it over and over again in her head, manipulating it, and using it as a tool against Spencer as a way to place blame for her estrangement with her daughter on him. To top it off she was warned what would happen if she got in between her daughter and Spencer. But Portia's arrogance is going to end up biting her in the a**💯

Spencer really pulling at my little heart💙 strings. He is about to have me go from a Spencer-critic to Spencer fanatic. He keeps fighting, running to, and protecting my little sis Trina and I AM OVER THE MOON loving it! In April, Spencer was so affectionate toward Trina I thought one of his hugs would have suffocated her. May has already started with Spencer making declarations of calling Trina his GIRLFRIEND with his entire CHEST LOUD and PROUD. Him passing out after he saw her is giving *I can rest happy knowing my love is alive.* I can't wait until he finally tells her that he loves her. All the sacrifices she's made for him and all that he is now doing to protect her is just amazing. I can't wait for tomorrow's scenes. On a different note: Why the hell has literally no ONE called Taggart since Trina's called Portia . The erasure of Trina's Dad from this storyline and/or show is utterly frustrating and irritating. WTF GH.

It could have been so much more by just adding a few scenes with Taggert/Curtis instead of multiple scenes of Portia crying. We needed to see the difference btw the two fathers, how Taggert works within the law and how Curtis doesn't. Both of them coming to her rescue bickering all the way and Trina realizing when she sees them together that she has two dads even without a blood test, ugh a wasted opportunity.

I'm not even that concerned about that blimp of a spoiler b/c it's obvious to me that Taggart was an afterthought in this storyline. The writers set it up so that Curtis would be the focus and all the while erasing Taggart who (idc what anyone else really says) IS TRINA'S FATHER- DNA or no DNA. Point blank and the period.

Okay… so things I hope come into play because DETAILS matter. 1. Why didn’t they gag the guard? (What if he wakes before you clear all 3 hostages?) 2. Why didn’t they secure the deadbolt? (Ditto… make it look like “Trina” is just throwing a fit behind the door) I’m pretty sure the gun will come into play because they made sure to get a shot of it dropping to the floor.
