Already seeing a lot of questionable takes…ppl talking about these scenes as if Portia blindsided Molly and accosted her. I think this story will bring out some really nasty, poorly veiled, racist takes. Bc the setup will ultimately be most of the Black cast against Laura. I hope I’m wrong in that assumption, but I’m already seeing it unfold. “Portia being aggressive”. “Curtis being unreasonable”…

Joss, Ava, Dr. Orbecht, Diane & Carly will mostly likely be against Laura also

@@bajangal03 Joss, Carly, And Ava have their own stories, so maybe they’ll have a moment. But the ones leading the charge will be the Black ppl. And ppl are already lining up to call Portia everything but a child of God. I just know how this will play out. Same as esme. Some ppl will defend Heather and Laura just bc she’s white.

Portia hasn't been given much to do for months and seriously, when is she ever allowed to look good? I am just not seeing signs of any improvement.

@@amusicfan25a21 for real, I think sometimes she gets the villain stamp bc ppl liked Sprina so much. For me, I’ve always thought that some push back is good in soaps. Sprina didn’t need esme as a roadblock long term. But a meddling mother written well would’ve been interesting. Instead, she had two conversations with esme and suggested a parenting class. Sorry, but it’s not enough for me to be mad about a year later. It’s interesting that the same ppl who won’t forget those two conversations don’t acknowledge that Portia show remorse about Spencer dying in Paris and expressed that to Curtis.

@@nfgc86 There's no real effort by the powers that be to try and make things better for Portia and the truth is that most people watching GH won't push for changes for Portia because she's written as a stereotypical angry Black woman and married to Curtis who doesn't really love her. I am sure that Portia will be thrown in the background again until she's needed to prop up Curtis who cheated on her physically and emotionally with Jordan. Portia is an awful character and I don't think that it will go well for Portia once Trina finds out that Portia was gaslighting Spencer and trying to keep him away from Trina, if it wasn't a big deal Trina would already know about it.
