Those of the Warner do not agree that this relationship that just began to flourish in Apocalypse War should be terminated, just like that. You don't know how much I wish Damien would return in the next DC Universe, but alone with Raven in a new movie.

I'd argue it began flourishing when they went with the team to the amusement park. They have those cute moments on the Ferris wheel, and laughing at each other's reflections in the funhouse mirrors; then she was the only one to see him give the prize toy sword to a little girl who wanted it. Raven told Damian "You may be insufferable, but in your heart, you're a kind and generous soul," which was the first nice thing anyone told him that wasn't related to fighting or courage. At the end, when Raven declared that she would remain in Hell to guard Trigon, he was the first Titan to insist that she go with them; he quoted a Frost poem, which I don't think was just to show how he was well-read, but arguably he was experiencing new emotions that he didn't understand, so relied on knowledge to encourage her to stay with the Titans. At the JL debriefing, they share adorable smiles. We didn't get a lot in Judas Contract, but they are clearly closest to each other on the team, as they often easily cooperate in battle and stand together during training. When they have a disagreement about Terra, Damian took Raven's suggestions to heart and tried to approach Terra with more kindness, which unfortunately backfired due to her being a traitor. Damian then spent most of the movie imprisoned. However, at the end, Raven helped to take his mind away from Deathstroke by giving him a puppy. In Damian's cameo in Hush, he still had the dog with him. While Damian warned his father about Catwoman's potential untrustworthiness, he expressed an understanding about the desire for intimate companionship, which was something he never considered valuable before, so possibly hinting about his subconscious attraction to Raven coming to the surface. Titus was a popular Ancient Roman name, but there are other examples more modern that could hint at other reasons beyond an Emperor's name. Then Apokolips War had them displaying heartwarming and bitter-sweet moments in every scene.

I think the lyric “even if we can’t find Heaven, I’ll walk through Hell with you” is especially apt. The Titans go into Trigon’s hell dimension to help Raven, and Damian specifically joins her in the middle of Hell, and rejects his family dynasty to protect her, as she does the same; they could become rulers in Hell, but chose to serve in Heaven (the opposite journey of the Devil himself).
