Lucky Confronts Nikolas!

Lucky confronts Nikolas about his love for Elizabeth. Unfortunatly he still doesn't know the OTHER part of the truth, that Elizabeth feels the same way.

I can't believe that Liz is continuing to lie, she's tearing Nik and Lucky further apart. It's probably worse for Lucky like this because he thinks his brother seduced Liz and he ruined her life. At least Nik fessed up and admits his love, Liz can't even give Lucky the decency of the truth. But I wonder if Lucky will feel so much hatred towards Liz when he finds out the real truth? This story is so messed up!

It's 2023; GH has had dire and worse storylines, but NIZ was and is the worst ever. Emily's death breaks Nikolas to the point his character spirals downhill, and he is no longer the same. The Nikolas we saw (from his debut) in 1996 - 2008 (Emily's goodbye montage) no longer exists.

I hated this storyline for what it did to Lucky and Elizabeth and Nikolas and Lucky. Why did Guza hate the musketeers so much?

Nik, seriously dude, does he really think he "loves" Liz like Lucky "loves" Liz? As much of a mistake as I felt this reunion was, no one can really claim to have the same kind of love LL2 have. Even when they weren't dating or married, they were each others best friends. Every time she has a kid by another guy, he helps raise it. Every time he cheats on her with another woman, she blames the other woman. Every time something bad happens in one of their lives, they decide to get married.

It is a side effect of losing Emily. Elizabeth was the next best thing to Emily. I hated this story line. At first it was like Elizabeth felt sorry for Nikolas. But not forgetting that Lucky fell in love with Emily when they thought Nikolas was dead.

When Elizabeth tells Emily that Lucky loves her, Emily refrains and tells Elizabeth (and Lucky) that she couldn't see herself falling for him because he was her best friend. She didn't want anything in the world to ruin that friendship. She still loved Nikolas, though everyone thought he was dead. I wouldn't say I liked the NIZ storyline; it's the worst ever on GH.

@@MellyLuvsCarly If you have seen from 1996 to 2008, Nikolas was honorable; he was kind-hearted, gentlemanly, noble, polite, and selfless. Once Laura stated Nikolas had the same heart as hers, Laura never said that to Lucky or Lulu. The GH writers and EP decided to ruin Nikolas's beautiful character for drama, sex, and brotherly fiancée betrayal. GH had many dire storylines, but NIZ was the worst.

This is what happens when the GH writers runs out of drama story lines to write about. They have had so many casts sleep around with each other, it gets ridiculous. Emily with Sonny was ridiculous too. She already witnessed what Sonny did to Sam. It would be nice to have at least one truly loyal couple on GH.

Fast forward years later and Nik sleeps with his son’s girlfriend. Wasn’t surprised knowing his history with this storyline 😒

After Emily's death and her last goodbye montage, Nikolas stopped having a history. The GH HWs and EP ruined Nikolas's beautiful character, whereas Laura, his mother, said his heart was the same as hers. There wasn't any 'point of no return' in him being noble, selfless, polite, gentlemanly, and kind-hearted ever again. From 2010 and now, he down spiraled into a dark, selfish, self-centered, money-hungry Cassadine who loves his empire more than his love for family and his sons. Sad, but Nikolas from 1996-2008 no longer exists.
