Love the way Luke turns with Laura and away from Alex when Amy comes up to her to speak to her. I use the word love a lot in my comments but I just can't help it. These two are lovable and amazing.

Amy's character actually helped move the plot along by some "reveal". Miss Shell Kepler really played the character well. We were supposed to be annoyed by her! On another note, I love the party "small talk" with the various characters. It was done realistically, and also to set things up plot-wise as well. Love this era!

Every time I see a scene with Alan and Laura speaking together I get the feeling that Stuart genuinely likes Genie. Just something I feel for some reason. He has such a natural warmth towards her.

If you ever watch the video of Miss Francis when she does the 2006 return, and she's walking in the hallways in the studio, I think one of the first people she sees is Mr. Damon, and the warmth is definitely evident.

Genie has mentioned that the actors and actresses who played Alan, Monica, Rick and especially Leslie were so good to her. They helped her get used to the soap opera crazy taping schedule and costume changes. They gave her a lot of guidance and they said she was like a sponge and soaked up every bit of knowledge they shared with her. She always shares credit with them and Kin and Tony for helping her become a better actress.

remmered1 I know. I remember how popular lip gloss was in 1980-81, it came in glass with a roller tip at the end and many different flavors. We girls always had a few in our purse. I didn't wear lipstick so I didn't look like Alex.

@TheCmacneil She was definitely more of a supporting character, but always played a part in the Laura, Lesley stuff. They did give her a real boyfriend for a while.. and at least information leakage was plausible with Amy around! ;-)

Ok, these people confuse the hell out of me. Last July, they were supposedly freezing. This show is on Laura's birthday, so that means it's December 21st, and Laura leaves her apartment with no coat. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔

Laura did take a coat with coat. She had it draped over her arm when she and Luke left her apartment. And Luke had his green trenchcoat on too. They probably gave their coats to be hung up while at the party. That part was skipped over presumably.
