This time in 2002 should have been the reunion we were all hoping for. They never should have had the attic scene and Laura having a breakdown. GH should have signed Genie to a long term contract and kept them together from this point forward to his retirement.

I love the "Ward House" music starting at around 7:00. This was the music the first time they entered the house, and they still occasionally use it throughout scenes where these two characters are connecting. In other episodes throughout the years, one can hear the first episode '93 Return opening music in times of semi-tense situations. The music connects the actors, just as much as the actors themselves. Whomever made the choice to do this at GH, really did a great job of thematically integrating the music consistently over a very long period of time so that the audience could connect as well.

You know... After EVERYTHING that Luke put her through (hating Nikolas, trying to kill him, walking out on her, all the Fluke sh*t), Luke should have been just a little bit understanding as to why Laura was so scared to be with him.

I agree but she put him through alot. Stephan and all the lies and feelings for him. Hurt him badly.

He also saved Nikolas on several occasions and to be fair, Laura kind of wasn't real nice to him prior to all of that, shutting him out of his own house and keeping him away from Lulu because she took off. And to be even more fair, do you think that maybe, just maybe, if she had just come totally clean with him to start with none of that would have happened?

ddhawkins63 I have to agree with u on something but please remember this. The writers are the ones who run the show. Not the actors themselves. I don’t think that they wanted it to end the way it did? I heard that TG had a say in what went down I think he got tired of the same song. Remember TG was on GH fora good 37 years he had some say so. Maybe he just got tired of the same song and wanted a change Sorry but in my heart that was a very big mistake. As far as I am concern RIP GH. You will always be #1 in my heart and in my happily ever after in my BOOK. Don’t care what anybody might say Thank u Love Rosie

When you compare their first wedding with them now, well...Laura is middle-aged and still lovely, but not the 19 yr. old that said, " I do " to Luke all those years ago. And Luke...when I see him with his white hair and stubble, he just looks that much older than her. I loved the L&L lore of yesteryear, but it's just not the same. But really, how could it be?

Older Laura these days says things like I was young and stupid then. So heartbreaking 💔 to the story and unfair to the fans. She was much kinder in these scenes. I'll take young and stupid 😊
