It is so fascinating to me that these two raise the bar on romance and sexiness without showing any skin and always, always, leave us wanting more. This is so hot! Back again after a year - going through from 78 through 2008 again, and this is my current position in this era of Luke and Laura. Soaphub had a poll where 60% of the respondents said if Luke would return those folks would like to see him return with Tracey, slightly less than 40% would want to see him return with Laura. I don't think any of us were polled because I think the real numbers would be inverted, and 60% (or more) would really want a finality to Luke and Laura. There are way more Luke and Laura playlists than Luke and Tracey, for real.

I think there is a group of us die hard LnL fans that have been so beaten down by the trash the current day GH has tossed at them and us by having Luke compare Laura to an old sweatshirt that we're just done. I don't want Luke with Tracy either. He was horrible to her. They so trashed the character of Luke that the guy we knew didn't exist after Laura went comatose. Truth is Luke was written that he would spin out of control without Laura... and he did. So I have justified it in my head.. I don't know who Luke was for the last couple decades he was on GH... but whoever , he was just so dark as to make him not compelling or interesting, just the one note that he wasn't while Luke and Laura were a thing.

@@sussezq As usual, well said, and you express the sentiments of many LnL fans that I know (including myself). So many folks still pine for his return, but I gave up this fantasy for quite some time, and just immerse myself in the best years of LnL.

Betsy Keller I know he has some health issues. That may have some bearing in any future decisions by TG. In my heart I will always want more Luke and Laura and want him to return with a compelling story. I know he writes and wonder if he can make this happen. Hearing TG say “Luke wasn’t supposed to be a good father and good husband” just kills me. I know Luke too. He was a great dad and husband albeit, not traditional, but he loved his family❤️❤️❤️
