Lois should have let Ned be at the birth and part of brook Lynn's life since then. It was really crummy of her to keep her away from Ned, he was her father after all.

I would agree partly, but I think she kept the baby away from Ned and his family because they could all be too toxic when they were all arguing with each other. She wanted their baby to avoid the stress the family could often bring.
