These two were so great together and made a masterpiece on their show OLTL , that was so superior to this one, they still have that special chemistry with each other , that old black magic could have been brought back, but what GH did to their characters and the writing , atrocious

Fans often label writing as poor when their darling duo is not promoted in any way as a couple. I hated the baby switch but other GH writing was thoughtful and enjoyable! Todd's scenes with Blair, especially his proposal, were written well and the November get together of Skye, Carly, Todd, Tea and Blair was great fun. Also, Todd with Carly worked. Carly and he had both friendship and the passion that TnT lacked. Finally, TnT can be good together as comedic exes and GH used that aspect of them. I loved when Tea was about to give birth and Todd was driving the car to the hospital. Very amusing together.

Tea resents Todd so much at this point. He shot her beloved Victor and kidnapped Tomas. (And we haven't even gotten to the baby switch yet.) His past rejections still sting, too. She told him, very bitterly in 2011, "He (Victor) could love me in a way you never could." and made it clear that Victor, unlike Todd, had desired her physically. She also told him that she felt "abandoned" by him on the island. Tea stays angry til the end of Todd's story. Sad how these two exes/friends end up more like frenemies.

Except that "Sonny" and "Kate" don't have Blair in the mix or Carly. Once Blair's back, "Sonny" is all about Blair. When Blair rejects him, he and Carly become an item.

@@trinitym9743 That's exactly what happened! Blair dumped him for Tomas but he remained hopeful and asked Blair to marry him when she came to Port Charles without Tomas. She turned him down. He got with Carly briefly. Then, his third pursuit of, and eventual marriage to Blair showed his intent to spend the rest of his life with her. Tea remains a loved friend /ex then frenemie, Carly is another ex whom he loved and Blair is his "soulmate" whom he states he has "always" loved.
