It is a big help for beating songs when you are getting to the harder songs on expert. Throw on hyperspeed and it is much easier to track the song on normal speed since you have been seeing it at hyperspeed.

+Jake Baker Turning on Focus Mode when playing the Wii version helps stabilize your frame rate a lot. Also, never play with 2 people or more without it, cuz without it the frames drop like crazy.
