The President is the head of the country who sets up policies as a direction in which the will follow. So if fuel rises you can't blame the guy in the streets it's all because of policies whether right or wrong. If the government borrows billions of dollars from IMF & defaults on repayments a couple of years down the line & inflation rises through the roof & people started complaining & domestic discontent leads to demonstration on the streets who's to be blamed?
