The Ghanaian Cedis is not a good Currency compared to the Nigerian Naira even though many Ghanaians think the have better and more valuable money that Nigeria. Ghanaians are always in competition with Nigeria in one way or the other trying to prove that Ghana is better than Nigeria which is not true. The Nigerian Naira is more valuable and has a higher purchasing power than the Ghana cedis

Very well done Ajim Baba!!!🙌🏾! The process you just described is called Redenomination ! It was implemented in Ghana in 2007 , because it was getting ridiculous, the amount of money people had to carry around just to buy a crate of eggs! Nigeria actually considered the same process at one point , but it was decided against! It does give an illusion of sorts of having a strong economy but can only be workable if Ghana manufactured the great number of its products! Nigeria has a by far more dynamic manufacturing capacity and huge agricultural production output!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!

Ajim you are right. Ghanaians with their cedi can't even ball at a club, but, when my Nigerians friends enter Ghana and go flex inside their clubs with naira, them bow! The clubs owners come they wish to have Nigerians as their customers

a Ghanaian youtuber link up with a Nigerian real estate builder in Nigeria recently he saw a semi 3 bed room mansion sold at 60 million Naira asking price he was shock! .he sald this same house in Ghana with same choice location will cost X 2 and half of this price in ghana.

Many Nigerians don’t know that Nigerian currency is better, Ghana government removed all the zeros from their money, what you can buy with $1 in Nigeria, you will buy the same thing at $3 in Ghana so yes Nigeria money is better

Oh oh oh oh is that actually sooo now I see what Ghanaians played here 😂😂😂😂! No wonder my friend that went to Ghana just for a short visit and returned (that was 2 years ago) told me that they sell fried buns for 5 Ghana Cedis and Naira is better and that got me totally confused, I was telling him how do you mean naira is better he was explaining but he can’t explain properly well in a way I can understand, I just ended up being confused!! Well Ajim the only mistake they made on the part of Nigeria is what the video you played said about 8000 naira feeding someone for up to a week the reality currently in Nigeria is that 8K can’t feed someone for up to a week right now but at least can last up to 4 days that’s the only truth I wanna drop other things you said are true because here in Nigeria at least we can still buy that Fried buns my friend talked about with 100 Naira 💯

It was Prof. Chukwuma Soludo who floated the idea,as Central Bank Governor, though It was discussed by the government and public but the idea was jettisoned because Nigerians are smart. We all know that Ghanaians follow affairs in Nigeria very very closely so their officials must have "stolen" the idea and gone ahead to implement it. A government like the Ghanaian Govt which is so comfortable telling lies to it's own people and getting away with It because the so-called people are crazily docile,fearfull of Govt and do not protest or complain!!!

U're on point, AJIM, removing four zeros from their currency denomination didn't know by the Ghanians dat it's not made any better 2 d currency but scam, however the minimum wage is still equivalent to 30,000 Naija money, compared to 70,000 of Nigeria and things to buy in Ghana is super cost , more than triple in currency value, a bottle of coca cola🥤 drink in Ghana is equivalent to 1300 in Nigeria money,a litre of Petro fuel also 1300 equivalent and so on Tell me hw can a man survive wit these in Ghana economy 😢😢

4zeros were removed by president Kufour. In the same year Zimbabwe removed 6zeros . Ghana cedis is useless 1ghc is 10,000 cedis. No currency grows by removing zeros. 1dollar is 150,000 cedis
