Am a Ghanaian American with a lot of Nigerian friends. The Nigerians I know are hard working and kind. So I pray that the good Nigerians will be the ones going to Ghana. The delta states are an environmental and human rights catastrophe, its so painful to witness. If next months elections don't go well, it will be a disaster for the sub region as well. History tells us in 1945-77 the yorubas were into the mining sector here in Ghana. Most of the Nigerians I know are into businesses in Ghana . Yeah so some come here to do business, even nollywood charter was launched in 2021 in Accra. Smart people always look for business opportunities you know, yeah Ghana has business friendly environment for all countries. That is also part of the reason why we got incredible Nigerians here.

Even America once experienced a-lot of these issues in the 50s but they are good today though they still have alot but there’s a working system. Ghana's not saturated yet. There's space here to accommodate our Nigeria, African American, Ghanaians/Africans from the diaspora etc Our authorities have to be purposeful with the planning of our spaces so there's space for all of us Let's build VERTICALLY. Build multistorey apartments/schools/markets etc, widen/dualize our roads at the least, create vertical parking spaces, create sidewalks, improve our infrastructure etc

@@ajajs3390 I'm talking REALITY. are the Nigerians, African Americans, Ghanaians from the diaspora, other Africans coming into Ghana or not? Would it put pressure on our resources? Yes. So we build taller, bigger etc. There're ways to go about this You'd realise Accra is beginning to see lots of rural urban migration like happened in the past, or happened to Lagos We should be PURPOSEFUL with the planning of our spaces so we're not OVERWHELMED. That's all I'm saying

@@markntiri8251 it's not about accommodation, it's about jobs, there are no mass employers in Ghana, the civil services are the largest formal employment sector. The formal private sector is not in a good position. Agriculture is in shambles, we import almost everything where is the money to pay for these imported foods, the demand for electricity and water is outstripping supply, it is a future problem, if not already present. The problem for west Africa is the demographics, the percentage of under 30's is high.most underemployed or non employed. What should happen is west African businesses should build Factories in Nigeria it's got the largest market in west Africa. The signs are good with Dangote refinery starting this month.
