Sir so what if prostitution is considered as a crime in that state or country would they also hold the prostitute to be criminally liable for an offense to?

I remember defining equity as a doctrine that mitigate harshness of the common law ...my teacher gave me 5 on 10....still don't get why

Well, I think it’s the choice words. Harsh gives the common law an unpleasant or negative sense whereas (if I may) you wanted to give it a sense of inadequacy or insufficiency.
