It isn't population and land mass that makes a nation and it's people great, else how could Britain reign over the world ? Nigerians must take their time to think again instead of talking too much. Honestly, I don’t know how you guys define peace. I trust you are not oblivious to the chaos unfolding in Tamale, Accra, and several other regions. I wanted to support that the during and post-election period was peaceful, but that would be a lie. We have at least 5 people dead, numerous instances of chaos from looting to infrastructure being burnt, and y’all keep saying that the election was peaceful.

Trump was shot while campaigning but these were isolated incidents not widespread to call the US election not PEACEFUL. Ghana has isolated incidents of voter irritation so that means Ghana election was not peaceful?

You guys should stop this unnecessary comparison. Ghana is a very small country that cannot be compared to Nigeria in anyway . No country in the world is like Nigeria. Nigeria has more than three hundred ethnic groups with variegated religious practices . It is a miracle that we are together . As complex as America demography is it cannot in anyway be compared to the complexity of Nigeria . At sixty America was still practicing slavery and carrying out genocidal wars with the native Americans and still burning witches at the stakes . We should celebrate how far we have come . Each successive election will bring a new set of understanding.
