The northern parts of Ghana are stunning and very much in contrast to the wet high forests of the south. This is an interesting concept but i do have a few concerns. I guess this place whilst it may seem large, to naturally sustain such species it is too small by area and thus needs electric fences. I am not keen on introduced species as they sometimes impact local eco-systems and have devastating effects. Think rats to the Galapagos. Even creatures or plants which may appear benign can be bad. African giant snails to both the americas and Ghana. The Ghana giant snail (the largest type in the world) is endangered due to another invasive species. Eucalyptus trees to other parts of the world and rabbits to Australia, all went wrong. I would rather see local species, lions do occur naturally in Ghana. Mole national park may still have them and due to its vast area it is home to and sustains many other creatures indigenous to Ghana. On peacocks, at the turn of last century it was discovered that there is an African peafowl the Congo Peafowl. It would be nice to see more local species which could help in breeding programs.

Sorry, this place is over rated. The presenters are hyping it to promote the business. 20 minute video with hardly anything to report. There is very little to see at this venue Try Kenya, Namibia or South Africa for better safaris
