Maybe it was a slip of the tongue,but in a fairly detailed introduction to the song,the senior anchor,credited the original version of the song to Ashaji (Asha Bhonsle),and Mannada (Manna Dey). This iconic song,in its original version,from the 1951 R.K.movie Awaara,was sung by Lataji (Lata Mangeshkar ),and Manna da (Manna Dey). Needless to add,the cover version singers here, Puneet and Ragini,and all the orchestra artistes lending support,are outstanding. My appreciation to all of them ! Prakash.

Omg! What a beautiful orchestration! Just phenomenal, mind blowing performance by these very talented musicians, it was as if we were hearing the original, so beautifully played by each and everyone on their respective instruments! Mandolin and flute were outstanding, played beautifully! This song has taken us back many years to the golden era of music, such immortal compositions, cherished even to this day! A very young and dynamic artist, Ragini, was able to do justice to this beautiful song, though she needs more practice and hard work to perform better in the future! Rana sang beautifully as always, rendered the lyrics with intensity and feel of the song! Once again the musicians stole the show, in this performance! The stage was ablaze with the intensity of the instrumental music, and a joi de vivre could be felt in the audience! Thanks for sharing this amazing presentation, Puneet ji! Best wishes!
