How can you control what is the nature of the land when you have apartment? also in case of HOMES it is possible to get the centre, for apartment do you take the centre of the apartment or the cetnre of the building complexes?

Nonsense, red is considered auspicious. It's not mentioned in any vastu shastra. And I agree 90% vastu experts suggest the NE for puja, but if you r building Puja room then it's not correct to close the NE direction of the house, so never place the puja room in the corner, since NE corner can't be filled with weight, better leave that direction empty with openings.
