It is a irony that historians has done disgrace to the personalities who were occupied prominent place in the Anglo-Mysore, Maratha-Mysore and Nizam-Mysore wars. Neither Muslim nor mysore kingdom historians did justice in identifying and characterising personalities like Gazi Saheb. Lest Hayavadan Rao the compiler of Mysore Gazetteer during post Mysore war and the seige of srirangapattana to Britishers. Well done Shafique Saheb in analysing the Buzurg Baap's character within the available material and sphere.
