Hi! Excellent review! If you could choose only one of the two tongs, which one would you choose? I'm really interested in getting one of this tongs... but I'm very undecided between the 1" and the 1" and 1/4. I have long hair, normal to thin, not a lot of it... I don't like a very tight curl but want my hair to last... Which one would you recommend if you could choose only one? I'm afraid the 1 and 1/4 curl doesn't last all day :-/ Thank you! :)

+Vânia Gomes I personally end up using the 1.25 inch iron the most, but I think it really depends on what you are going for. I like really loose, sleek waves. I have found whichever iron you choose gives you very true curls. They don't fall, so if you want tighter curls go for the 1" but looser the 1.25" will be your best pick. I hope this helps! xo Molly

Does this curling iron work well on thin straight haired folk? My hair Is not known to hold a curl to safe my life so perhaps this will work?

The curls hold for a few days for me with these irons vs other brands. Try a little texture spry before curling as well, it really helps give grip and makes curls last longer for me! Just make sure the spray has dried before curling.

I love the curls from the 1.25" iron! Very big waves, the loosest I've gotten from any ghd iron :)

I find that if I let the curls properly set (with clips) I can get them to last 3-5 days and if I let them set until cool but with no clips they usually last 3 days, getting looser each day. I hope this helps!

Hmm, that's so odd! What size piece of hair are you wrapping around the barrel? Maybe try curling smaller sections of hair before buying another iron?

I personally use the tapered wand more, but the other curl wand is excellent for curls and the tapered creates the types of waves that's a bit looser. On the @girlgetglamorousHAIR channel there is a video using the tapered wand if you want to see the end results. :)

hey, I have naturally curly hair that is similar corkscrew type of curl. I'm not looking to curl my hair to the same size as those curls but more of a 'glamourous big curl' however, I don't want to buy multiple curling irons. I don't mean to be picky but I'm so not sure what to do. Please help

+Green Wallace Hi, Green! For shorter hair, I would recommend the smaller of the two barrels, the 1" size. It'll be easier to curl the shortest pieces around your neck. They just lowered the prices on these by $45 also!! This is the one I think will work best for you: rstyle.me/n/uzkfnbb7df
