@@Z3MusicOfficial Ghetts took Shellington Crescent over Chip, Little Bo Peep was 50/50 Ghetts & Dave, I'd maybe give Dave that one but it's pretty close. Then Ghetts merked everyone on Dave's In the Fire track. You might see some rappers grt close but don't think anyone can top him

If this is the first introduction to Ghetts you've had I feel like it was the wrong recommendation. His Mad About Bars freestyle would've been the most ideal for both of you, in terms of relatable lyrics and beat selection. Unless you are heavy into Grime or UK rap this will 100% come across as either off beat, weird flow pattern/pockets, or weird beat selection, and the thing is it has all 3 lmfao, it would've helped knowing going into this what to roughly expect as apposed to just going in blind first introduction.

Yep you are correct and that’s 100% one thing us uk heads are doing wrong is putting these guys in too deep from the jump, this is very grime/uk heavy.. we need to break them in lightly or from the roots of grime for these masterpieces to be really understood, I see screwface diss chips - killer mc 🤦🏽♂️ I no everyone might not like it but he missed the crazy flows the crazy pockets the craziness from of the instrumental just simply missed it all because he doesn’t understand true grime

Really good to see you get to Ghetts finally. Promise you are MISSING OUT. This guy is one of the best MCs in the world - easily. Unlevelled IMHO. It takes a minute to get used to his unusual style, but once your ears have levelled up, it is MINDBLOWING to realise what he is doing. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 More Ghetts please. One of the best to ever do it. Just for starters: Ghetts - Fire in the Booth Ghetts - Daily Duppy (first one) Ghetts feat. Kojey Radical - Black Rose Ghetts - Listen Ghetts - Mad About Bars Btw - good observation about the amount of pockets Ghetts finds - he’s known for that over here. His flows are fire 🔥 In ‘Skengman Mode’, his track with Stormzy, Stormzy’s verse references this: ‘Pat a n**** down and find every pocket, I'll Ghetts him’ 🔥💯

Thank You!!!!!!!!! I asked for this a couple times and you guys came through.. So much love, Ghetts is fire! His smoothness and confidence is really what makes me enjoy listening to him.. "Fine Wine" off his newest album Conflict of Interest is a good one where he talks a bit about his journey.. "Black Rose" is a really beautiful song about the women in his life and up lifting black culture, its a change of pace from the drill, "Mad about Bars" is a freestyle and hes bar'd up as always..

Glad to see you experience Ghetts, you'll be able to see from the comments that he's God tier for the UK. I'd recommend: Fire in the Booth Pt3 (freestyle) Fine Wine (this is a track that starts his amazing Conflict of Interest album and gives you a good idea of his journey as well as being brilliant lyrically)

Have you guys heard the whole “We’re All Alone in this Together” album from Dave? I know you already did two songs from it, but I think you’d love Law of Attraction. More relevantly of course would be In the Fire where Ghetts has a feature. Wish I had some more Ghetts recommendations but I am way too behind on his work.

Listen to Ghetts' conflict of interest, one of the best albums I've heard in general, ghetts has been around 17 years in the scene and constantly evolved, so there's a lot of work out there from here, his newer stuff is deffo calmer in delivery than his older stuff, as the culture back then was clashes and grime/garage
