I've been flying my arena war cars for a while now. I've got really good at it with lots of practice, but I never knew, until now, about the handbrake mechanic. I've been using only two axis to adjust speed and height. Having a third axis will be a game changer. Thanks!

I have tried this a ton of times on PC with the exact same vehicles you use. I don't know if the physics are tied to the frame rate or what but I always just get a teeny tiny little boost that doesn't even lift the car and can never get more than 2 in one jump without any real gains to height.

for every tilting directional input you do, do the opposite direction about 30% as strong to cancel out the movement to make it stay angled where you want it

Thanks for the tips with the other cars I’ve mastered the monster truck since like day one and recently discovered that the shunt boost works after the vehicle is destroyed so i flew out into the ocean and i was actually able to reach the camera lock barrier. Anyways even tho someone else has probably already done it im calling myself the first to reach camera lock in a monster truck without mods

this is happens when lets say for example the left side of your car is facing the ground, and the front part of your car is more to the ground then the back, at this if your front is too close to the ground in persepective to the back it wont fire same with the other way.... i belive that happens because lets say your doing a drag race in the zr380, you take off, then you go to the right and right after like a mid drift you shunt bosted so your car went more foward. if thr shunt boost would fire at this time while being in a turn it would give you a huge speed boost i think so i think thats why.... to stop this level your car out more that helped me and it barley happen

Huh, I wish I found this video before mastering shunt flying. However I have a thing or two to say about the video. The Scarab doesn’t “randomly” change its orientation, since the Scarab is a tank it’s going to control like one in the air, tanks are designed to be difficult to knock over or put on their sides or backs. So whenever a tank is high in the air with no surfaces around it it controls just fine, but once you get close to a building or the ground it will try to auto adjust to make sure it lands on its tracks. Also you should have mentioned how the Sasquatch has some insane control while in the air. Because it’s a monster truck it has faster air control than any other arena war vehicle. The last thing is the Cerberus actually has the strongest shunt. So while being a lot harder to learn and fly it’s actually the fastest arena war vehicle in the air. But overall you did a great job explaining the physics behind Shunt flying. I’ve never heard someone explain as well as you have👍

ghilliemaster, have you used the molotok against players on the ground? even though it is the worst fighter in the game, i could still say it is at least the third best fixed wing ground aircraft in the game. it has the slowest nosedive in the game when the wheels are down, and engine is off, all while still giving the pilot good control. actually, slow nosedive is an understatement, it floats to the ground.

I really want to know if the b11 is the best dogfighter now or is the starling still the king. Hello, if anyone is wondering as of right now.... I HAS NOT BEEN PATCHED. In my opinion the Bruiser is my favorite.Also, it Seats the most people out of all the area war vehicles.

Heeey that’s what I use for the same reason Also it has one of the most powerful shunt boosts so you get most of your speed in the air instead of on the ground I just shunt once or twice on the ground to get the speed and then launch up at an angle so I go even faster then I angle myself upwards to get height It’s so fun bringing randoms along to the top of maze bank

I have a question; why is it not letting me shunt hop when I’m in the air? And if it does let me hop, it’s after a 10 second delay? I’m using the nightmare issi and it just seems awful, it’s so lightweight it’s impossible to control

There is a speedo custom invincibility glitch it is very overpowered nothing can destroy it not even the orbital cannon I tested it myself. I actually have problems getting the first hop. I'm driving at a good speed, jump, tilt the car and try to get the shunt hop but it doesn't activate. When I don't tilt the car the shunt boost works just fine for me, but it means it can ony go left or right, but not up.
