Adore these treat holders and still relevant after your post from five years ago. Excellent instructions. Going to gift them to co workers. I’m using a 6”x6” Christmas pad. Once paper is trimmed to 4x6”, I have a 2”x6” strip remaining which I punch on one end (same punch used to make treat holder, and I now have bookmarks to gift with the treats. I have no waste! Thanks again.

Thank you for your awesome idea. I’m making 70 of these for a local seniors home to go on their tables for Christmas dinner, I’m putting small Peppermint Patties in them. I’m excited, even my husband is helping with them. 💕🎄

This is a very cute project. This was a nice tutorial. Thank you for sharing your project. You've got to get a jewel picker. They are great for picking up little pieces like the rhinestone to add to your project. Very inexpensive, too.

I'm thinking if I widen the center score marks a little, it will possibly fit 2 Hershey Nuggets, and be a smidgen shorter.

What tip do you have when scoring the DSP to keep it from tearing? My guess is to just "lighten" up on the pressure?
@ThePaperPixie7 жыл бұрын
Hi Helen! Yes, lighten up the pressure - and if the score line is too light, you can just go over it again to deepen it. Also, you may have better success with DSP if you use the larger tip of the stylus on the Simply Scored.
@savvycrafter85187 жыл бұрын
Could use that for a tea bag as well, right?

Holly McGee Yes, I think so!

One more question! Is the Simply Score tool more effective when scoring DSP as opposed to the scoring option on out cutting tool? If so ill switch tools!!! AND thank u for replying to what may be a basic (stupid) question!!!
@ThePaperPixie7 жыл бұрын
Not a stupid question at all! Lots of people have difficulty scoring the DSP without tearing it, since it handles differently than cardstock. I prefer the Simply Scored over the Stampin' Trimmer for scoring, but it's more a matter of preference than effectiveness. The Stampin' Trimmer works great for scoring!
@helenbauer4117 жыл бұрын
Using the larger tip of the stylus on the Simply Scored made the difference. Thank you! I am also impressed that you answer everyone's replies/questions! Good business lady! and so very creative!
