Possible tech inclusion into Roaring Moon is Regidrago VStar for their VStar power allowing you to discard the top 7 cards of your deck and then taking any two cards from your discard pile. Could allow for recovery of your Ancient Ace Spec for massive draw, but also supporters like Sada for further digging and accelleration at the right time. My testing group is still testing the idea, but our general consensus is that a single prize deck can generally afford to lose one two prize pokemon and still be favored in the matchup. a 1-1 line of Regidrago VStar can add just that extra dig but more importantly recover of key card since the deck has such aggressive discarding already that can help get the right resources. Now do you play Turo/Collapsed as well, not sure, still testing. but I think it is worth considering 1-1 lines of Vstar pokemon techs in many decks going forward. that option to play what is essentially a second supporter in one turn is very powerful in pushing your decks strategy forward.

I was leaning towards Darkrai V and Vstar, but that build is probably more of a Roaring Moon EX build with Dark Patches.

I feel like ancient box really needs dark patch. It just really guarantees you'll chain roaring moons and it's another pokestop target.

Is discarding 2 energies to superior to get back the 2 you discarded allowed? I remember doing it in live and it didn't allow me, the text says "you can't choose the card you discarded with the effect of this card"

for your Gholdengo list, i think you can justify running only 3 PokeStops instead of 4. you don't need to worry about Path anymore, so 3 is enough stadiums while also opening up space for other techs (eg. Cyllene to recycle your Prime Catcher)

Honestly I love stop for having extra reach and unlocking superior and palkia asap so I’m maxing copies for that reason, but down to 3 is pretty reasonable!

I feel like you commit to 2 shoting always in ancient box and you should only ever race to ohko when it wins you the game or if you draw very poorly that it just happens naturally. So many pieces getting pitched too fast, honestly. Once you reach a number that lets you two shot anything on-board, priority shifts to building another moon/korai.

Yeah, like I mention in the video it was Shai’s first time playing the deck so not necessarily perfect play, and it becomes obviously in the late games that juggling resources more carefully is the priority

Without VIP this deck feels a little bit clunky. It's a bit slow as well and kind of vulnerable in the late game. Another thing I don't understand is why they don't include the ex. It's still one of the best cards of the entire archtype and get's rid of bulkier pokemon easily. I'm convinced that this is far from the optimal list yet, but I'm sure we'll find it within the next months.
